Although it was suppossed to be my 2nd OS, but somehow it always got delayed but today i finally decided to type and post it...Happy readingš
A WALK TO REMEMBER'.
Swayam opened the blind fold tied on sharon's eyes and whispered in her ears, "Now you can open your eyes love".She slowly opened her eyes only to be mesmerized by the beautiful view before her.They were on the beach,her favourite place.She kept staring at the sea'the roaring of the waves,the full moon,the glittering water reflecting the light of the moon...She turned to look at him after looking at the view for a long time all the while when he was just looking at her. "You like it?"he asked'
Sharon: like it? Oh swayam I loved It and I love you'this is amazing!!!she replied jumping.
He smiled at her and took her hand in his, "Lets walk?"he said.She nodded and they started walking close to the shore with cold waves hitting their feet occasionally make them shiver.She rested her head on his shoulder as he placed his hand on her waist.She was rubbing her palm with his to get some warmth when he spoke..
Swayam: Sharon
Sharon:hmmm
Swayam:Am really happy today'finally after such a long wait we got engaged today.When we met the first time who would have thought we would end up this way'at that time we didn't even know the value of all these relations.
Sharon:Your right swayam.You remember our first meeting'u were such a rotlu back then'.she chuckled looking at him.
But he had a serious expression,suddenly his face was all pale.She tightened her grip on his arm to relax him.
FLASHBACK:
It was lunch break for all 1st grade students and no one was in the class.A girl came running into the class as she had forgotten her lunch box,when she saw someone sitting in the last bench with head bent down.As she moved closer to him she realized that he was sobbing. "Hey, why are you crying?",she asked.He looked at her and replied, "I'm hungry but I don't have lunch". "Why? Didn't u bring your lunch today?"she asked concerned.He nodded his head in negation, "No.My grand ma is not well, so she couldn't make anything." "What about your mom?"she enquired like an officer. "She's dead.My mom died in a car accident when I was 2 years old.I live with my dad and grand mom."he said plainly.She nodded her head seriously hearing this as if she understood, she could not even leave for one day without her mom,she thought. "Do you mind sharing lunch with me?"she asked suddenly. "But I don't even know you"he said as a matter of fact.She extended her hand smiling, "Hi I'm Sharon rai prakash.And I know that u are swayam shekhawat, the nerdy of the class,she chuckled. Now do u mind sharing lunch with me?"she asked.He smiled and made space for her to sit without saying anything.
End of flashback'
He was always like this.Never expressed his feelings much.When his feelings became too much to hold it to himself he cried remembering his mom.She knew about this and always tried her best to make him share his feelings with her.She looked at him but he was lost somewhere.She thought of changing the topic.
Sharon: "Swayam??" She called out and he turned to look at her. "Are you going to cry?You look like you'll breakdown any moment'.Mr Rotluuu'"she teased him.
"No!!!",he said sternly and pouted as he remembered the day when he had got that nickname from her.
FLASHBACK
Sharon was pacing through the corriders,her eye scanning each and every corner of the college,searching for her best friend.
Sharon: Where r u swayam? Why did you go away like that?What is wrong with you these days?Why r u behaving so strange?
She had thousands of unanswered questions in her mind and the person who could answer them was on an "Ignore your best friend trip".But she had had enough of it and she needed her answer right away at any cost.Finally after a never ending search she found him sitting in an abandoned corridor.His head was bent down,his face held in his palm.She slowly tip toed towards him and sat next to him.Thats when she heard a sob escape from his mouth.She immediately placed her hand on his shoulder concerned.He lifted his head to see who it was.Looking at his tear stained face twisted her heart. "What is wrong Swayam?"she asked..
Swayam:I'm sorry Sharon.I cant do this anymore. I tried a lot but bloody hell its just not happening.I' cant' be your friend anymore.
He said as tears rolled down his cheeks.Those words made her eyes teary as well.
Sharon:But why?What did I do?Did I hurt you?I'm sorry swayam, I'm really'
"NO!!!" he said cutting her off.
Swayam:You didn't do anything.Its just me.Its all my mistake'I couldn't control myself'I fell in love with you'
He said looking down.Sharon was completely shocked to hear that when she regained her senses she wanted to jump like an idiot but somehow maintained a serious expression.When he didn't get any reply from her he continued,
"I'm sorry I don't know how it happened'.I didn't want to tell this to you but today when I saw some random guy ask u to go with him for valentine's night I couldn't control myself.I cant see you with someone else.I want you to be MY valentine.I always want you by my side.Coz I really love you, I love you so much that it hurts.It hurts Sharon."he said breathlessly and started crying again like a small kid.All the while Sharon had a big grin pasted on her face but when she saw him crying again she let out a huge sigh and engulfed him in a tight hug.He was initially shocked but nevertheless he loved it so hugged her back without thinking.After eternity they broke the hug and swayam instantly hung his head down.But this time Sharon was quick, "Dare you start crying again"she warned.He looked up surprised by her tone but found her smiling.She cupped his face and said looking straight into his eyes, " I love you too''Mr.Rotlu"
End of FLASHBACK
Sharon was smiling widely remembering the most special moments of their lives as they continued to walk together hand in hand.After sometime she heard a light sniffing sound and turned sideways to look at swayam.
Shron:Oh no'not again swayam!!!What happened now?" she asked seeing tears in his eyes again.
Swayam:Nothing'he smiled.Its just that am too happy, today we got engaged.In a few days finally u'll be mine forever.He said wiping his tears.
Sharon:Awww am excited too'.But don't cry rotlu, she said teasing him again.
Swayam:Hey don't call me that!!!"he said with a stern face.
But as usual it had no effect on his diva as she continued teasing him.
Sharon: you know what swayam I think your gonna cry more than me during my bidaai.And when we'll have kids and they cry for some reason'ur gonna accompany them in crying instead of consoling them'and I will be left alone to console u along with them'she teased him more and started laughing at her own joke.Swayam who was glaring at her all the while suddenly had a smirk appear on his face and teased her back..
Swayam: Ahha!!!Kids and all ha?Someone's going too fast I see'
Her cheeks turned crimson red on hearing this' "Shut up Swayam'lets go its alreading morning'"she said and pulled him towards his car before he could tease her more.
When emotions are too intense to be described in words they flow out as tears
PS: I know its kind of open ended...but thats how i wanted it to be...šwat happens after this u guys r free to think as u wish.This is a one shot and i dont think i'm gonna continue itš¤.
