very nice end to a beautiful story. Just as u asked, I'd like to comment on Nikah part. Actually, nikah can only take place in the presence of 2 witnesses from male side and 1 female's guardian (Must). And also, when it's done, it should not be repeated in public or something (yes, function or just a get together can be arranged).
