We are Best friends- part 4

Hello lovely people! I'm back with part 4 of Best friends. I had a long part on Tanveer but then I cut it short cause then the actual main plot would be delayed. This is my story so I have shaped Asad my way. He's not dumb like he is in the show. I'm sure you guys will love me after reading this chapter.
P.S: Not proof read. Please forgive me for any and every mistake.
*At night*
"Phuphi! I'll get the door!" Zoya called out.
She went up and opened the door to see no one but Asad's cousin, Tanveer (Aunty I may add 🤣 ).
"Assalamualaikum! Tanveer Aun- I mean you are Tanveer right?" Zoya confirmed.
"Walaikumasalaam! Jee, I Tanveer. You Najma friend na?" asked Tanveer. She didn't know much English as everyone in India spoke in Hindi and English was rare in her town.
"No I'm Asad's Best friend. Najma is my friend too though. Come in please, would you like juice or a drink?" Zoya stifled a giggle. She also wanted to show how close Asad and here were.
"You live here? I seen you last year but you gone out. You Zoe na?" Tanveer inquired. It was going to be so hard living here but she had to if she wanted a life.
"Yup, I'm Zoe but Zoya for you, Zoe only for family. I think I had gone to Scotland when you came." informed Zoya. Again emphasising on family. Asad called her Zoe and so did her family including the Khans.
Tanveer was now fuming. Asad had been her crush since as long as she could remember and here, he had a girlfriend who was three years younger to him.
"Who is it Zoe?" Dilshad entered the hall. Dilshad calling Zoya Zoe reminded Tanveer about what Zoya had said a few moments ago.
"It's Tanveer, Phuphi is Asad ready? We've got to set the table, it's our turn today." Zoya was hungry and Dilshad could tell.
"Yup, go call him. Assalamualaikum Tannu! How are you? How's your Mum?" Dilshad inquired.
"I fine Khala, very very fine and Ma also very fine." answered Tanveer. She was now a bit intimidated by everyone here, she couldn't even speak like them!
Zoya knocked on Asad's door. Zoya was looking at Dilshad and Tanveer talking so she hit Asad on the forehead and boy, was she strong!
"I'm so sorry Asad! Anyway, we have to set the table. Tanveer Aunty has also come." Zoya informed him.
Dilshad and Tanveer heard Zoya. Dilshad chuckled while Tanveer reached the peak of her anger.
She walked upto Zoya and started screaming at her.
"Tumne mujhe Aunty bulaya hi kaisa? Tumme itni himmat? Ruko tumhe main abhi batati hoon!" Tanveer slapped Zoya. None of them except Dilshad had understood what she said.
"TANVEER! WHY DID YOU HIT ZOYA? AND WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HER?" Asad roared. He couldn't stand it if anyone did anything to Zoya.
"Wo Asad I - she said me Aunty!" Tanveer let out crocodile tears.
Asad did not melt. He was furious.
"It was a JOKE! Do you understand jokes?" Asad screamed but he was now controlled.
"Tanveer, I don't think you should have hit Zoya. She is also my daughter and I cannot bear it if anyone else touches MY children. If you weren't our guest, I would've sent you to bed without food." Dilshad too was angry.
"Let it be Phuphi, some people just need some sessions in an anger management class." said Zoya and went to the kitchen, Asad followed her, giving a dirty look to Tanveer (you are gonna love me for this 🤣 )
"Tanveer, let me show you your room," Dilshad lead Tanveer upstairs, "No wait. Zoe! You sleeping in Najma's room or yours?"
"Depends on Najma but Phuphi, you can't give my room to a guest! You can give her the other guest room on the second floor." replied Zoya. She would keep showing Tanveer Aunty her place.
"Okay Baby! No one stays in my Zoe's room!" Dilshad chuckled and left with Tanveer.
"So, I suppose we three can be Besties, can't we? Now that you've forgiven her." Asad joked.
"Asad!" Zoya yelled and hit him hard.
Tanveer and Zoya were not getting along. Even a blind person could say that. It had been a week since Tanveer had come. Asad wanted her to leave but couldn't ask her to do so.
Asad and Zoya were in Asad's room doing homework.
"Zoe, why do you hate Tanveer so much?" Asad randomly questioned.
"Because she keeps sticking to you and she slapped me the first day she came! Even my parents have never hit me." Zoya replied.
"Point."
"So you see Mr. Khan, I have the FULL RIGHT TO HATE HER." She yelled the last part as Tanveer entered.
Asad saw this, " Oh poor Claire! She is soo dead!" Asad gave a look to Zoya. Being the soulmates they were, Zoya understood.
"Asad, I so bored play with me na!" Tanveer insisted, her voice laced with fake sweetness.
"Tanveer, don't you see we're doing homework? My project is due tomorrow." said Zoya.
"So? You project. Asad play with me, you do homekam." said Tanveer kind of embarrassed because she didn't remember what Zoya had called 'school ka kam'.
"Huh?" asked Zoya.
"That what you doing." Tanveer replied.
"No way! Asad's helping ME so buzz off you-"
"Zoe! Ofcourse I'm helping you only. Don't swear, you'll get punished. I don't want that," Asad cut Zoya off, he looked at Tanveer. "Tanveer, I'm doing Zoya's work right now, we'll play later."
'Never, actually.' Asad mouthed to Zoya. She giggled and gave Tanveer a victorious look.
"I'm telling you, Asad is good. So obviously he'll take the good side and refuse to the evil." Zoya whispered in Tanveers ear.
Tanveers nostrils flared. She felt like hitting Zoya until she died.
Asad gave her the 'leave right now' look. She obediently left them.
*Next Day*
"I sorry Zoya!" Tanveer had deliberately dropped juice on Zoya's favourite T-shirt.
Zoya started sobbing. She was a brave girl, but Asad had bought this top with his own money, which he had earned. He worked for a week just for her.
Dilshad, hearing Zoya's sobs, came out of the kitchen.
"Zoe! What happened?" Dilshad asked worriedly.
"Ph-Phuphi, she dropped the berry juice on my favourite T-shirt! Asad had given it to me, he bought it with the money he had earned himself! I hate you Tanveer! All you've done is ruin everything since you came!" Zoya yelled, taking out all her frustration.
Dilshad knew about Zoya's anger. It was dangerous, for herself and others.
"I tell I sorry!" Tanveer was scared.
Asad entered the house. He had gone to Tesco to buy a few things his mum needed.
"Mum! Is Zoe angry? What happened?" he quickly went and kept the bags in the kitchen.
"Asad, this girl has to go! She dropped juice on THIS T-shirt!" Zoya complained.
Asad sat next to Zoya and put his arm around her. She leaned on his chest and sobbed.
"Zoya, I will buy you another one. I promise." Asad tried to calm her down. Everyone knew only he could do that.
"It won't be the same Asad. You bought this with your OWN money the money you earned yourself by working cause Rashid uncle had punished you for spending too much time on your computer." Zoya had stopped crying but was yet sniffling.
"So I'll do another job at the library for a week and buy you another one! Simple." suggested Asad.
"Again not the same. This is your FIRST earning." said Zoya.
"Zoe, you are so lucky. Being Asad's mum, I've never got anything from his first earning and you got a T-shirt! Don't worry about the stain, I'll try my best to get it out. I'll also see to it that Tanveer doesn't do anything to you." Dilshad tried to brighten up the room.
Asad took Zoya to her room. Dilshad always told Zoya to keep spare clothes there as well. Accidents happen anytime.
Meanwhile, Dilshad spoke to Tanveer about her behaviour.
"Yeh India nahi hai Tanveer. Here people are sensitive. Tum yahaan kuch bhi nahi kar sakti ho. Tumne already Zoya ko bahaut hurt kiya hai. You slapped her. Use aaj tak kisi me slap nahi kiya hai. She's a very good girl. One more thing, tum ab badi ho, tum Asad se itna close nahi reh sakti. Mera matlab hai tum physically usse itna close nahi reh sakti. I know he is your cousin and all but phir bhi. Tum samajh rahi ho na?" Dilshad spoke in Hindi so that Tanveer could understand better.
"Ji Khala. Hum Zoya se maafi tho bahaut achhe se maange ge." replied Tanveer with a smirk and her voice dripping with sweetness.
'Badi aayi mujhe Asad se door rehne keliye kehne.' thought Tanveer.
*Few days later*
Asad was at Zoya's. Zoya rarely came to his house because of Tanveer.
Rashid too was over to discuss some buisness work with Zaid.
"Zoya? You've not come over since a long time! What's wrong? Upset with Phuphi?" asked Rashid. He too thought Zoya as his daughter.
"No! I can't be upset with Phuphi for more than five minutes. I don't come because of Ms. Mean Bag Tanveer." Zoya replied.
"Zoya! I've told you not to say such things about others!" Zaid was a man of discipline and peace. He glared at Zoya.
"Abu, she is. You know she slapped me!" Zoya blurted. She wasn't supposed to tell Rashid or Zaid. Zeenat freaked so did Asad.
"She did WHAT?" asked Rashid and Zaid.
"Sh-she slapped m-me." Zoya stammered.
"That girl! How dare she hit MY daughter? We've never even raised our hand at you and she has the pluck to slap you? I'm sorry Asad, Zoya and Rashid but Zoya will not be allowed in that house if any child guest comes." Zaid made a new rule.
"Abu can I go when Humeira comes? She's really sweet." asked Zoya, innocently.
"Yes you can. We know Humeira's family well." Zaid replied. If this girl came in front him, he would hit her until she was bruised. NO ONE hits his Zoya, NO ONE.
"I have good news for you Zoya. Tanveer is going day after." Rashid announced.
"OMG! Really? Yaaayy!!!" Zoya screamed she was on cloud nine.
*Two days later- The day of Tanveers departure*
"Allahfiz Tanveer! I won't miss you!" Zoya was allowed to go to Asad's house as Tanveer was leaving.
Asad giggled. How he enjoyed seeing Zoya like this!
"Me too not miss you!" Tanveer retorted.
Dilshad sighed.
'Good riddance!' she thought.
She had told Rashid to never say yes for sending Tanveer here.
Rashid agreed but felt guilty. He had a terrible secret that he hadn't even told Dilshad. He was going to today, he promised himself.
*At night*
"Dilshad we need to talk." said Rashid and led her to their room.
Dilshad was distraught after learning the secret.
She was worried as to how she would tell Asad. She was worried about Zoya too.
A huge obstacle was coming their way and as much as she knew through reading books, they never worked.
'My kids are different. They won't break their bond because of this.' thought Dilshad and prayed for them and their bond.

A/N: Happy after reading this? *Collars up*
Tanveers track was supposed to be longer but then it would delay the actual plot, so I ended it soon. I could make Zaid hit Tanveer, but that would be wrong, so I didn't. You can imagine it though.
It was supposed to be that Tanveer comes to call Asad and Zaid slaps her.
Next part biggg drama coming up.
I'll update next or next to next weekend. Stupid mid-terms coming up. I'll update the next part then wot be able to update for a long time cause I'm going for a holiday after exams. I'll try my best.
