Omg omg Sonak..

No I've not seen Lootera yet..I will though tomorrow, and I'm already infinite times biased by now so I know I will love it regardless.

I'm watching her on Indian Idol right now with Ranveer and oh my f**king God, she's gorgeous. The way she conducts herself brings out her personality even more. Ranveer and her compliment each other so well. They both were such entertainers on the show btw. Which reminds me of an instance with Shahid Kapoor (yea, he still exists). He was on Saregamapa with Sonam to promote Mausam and he was an A grade douchebag with the kids. It makes me happy when stars interact and have fun while promoting for their films..I'm not sure if Sonakshi and Ranveer were genuine, but they made an effort. Ranveer doesn't care how he comes off and he can get hysterical but he at the same time can make his fans happy. No wonder Shahid Kapoor didn't go far.

The point of this topic is to reiterate that Sonakshi will take away the number 1 title from Katrina. She is so self aware, which will work in her favor. Sonam, Alia, Parineeti, Deepika, Anushka, Shraddha etc etc can fight for the remaining spots.

There was a topic on the forum stating how the Kat-Kareena-Priyanka era has culminated so I can only hope the same for the end of Salman-SRK-Amir era. As far as I'm concerned, Ranveer can do much, much more than what Ranbir can.

I hv seen a few twitter interactns of sonakshi.its so normal.nthng too starry abt her.she z too calm n secure abt herself n it reflects even in her interviews.sm ppl i feel put on a different mask during interviews to project sm image.sonakshi n ranveer both cm across as natural n original in dat sense.

I loved Sonakshi in Lootera. The girl s talented. I just hope she doesnt go back yo her old roles after this. She isnt into all these bitchy fights
I am not sure who is more talented between Ranbir and Ranveer but I would choose Ranveer anyday. The way he interacts on shows is so much fun

I only like her in the movies..where she plays characters
in real life there is nothing to talk about except her beauty..she is boring and little batameez smtimes(in early days).. but she is getting better now and learning manners

I mentioned something similar in that topic as well. I feel that the end is starting to near with Salman-SRK-Aamir being the mass heroes, since the younger crowd is starting to gain popularity now.

Her awareness is also what has surprised me about Sonakshi. She really has grown since having had only a few lines in Dabangg to now. And the fact that she doesn't conform to certain body image types is also commendable.

That's good to know! Back in early 2010 when Dabang hadn't even released, I think Sonakshi was just shooting for it then, I tweeted her something, she responded with a really thoughtful tweet. I thought that was a sweet gesture. Since then, I can't really bring myself to dislike her. The fact that she seems so unaffected by mean tweets and her performance in Lootera has blown me away some more. I like her, I hope she goes far.

As for Ranveer, he always seems humble and down to earth to me despite his brash exterior. The fact that he is so friendly and nice to the reporters also proves that he's genuinely a good guy IMHO.


I love this topic because Sonakshi and Ranveer get way too much flak on their appearance. Plus, Good to see ya back in form, Kitkat :)
