Pooja Banerjee approached for Chhanchhan

A new twist is in the offering for the viewers of Chhanchhan!! Actress Pooja Banerjee, last seen in Sahara One's Ghar Aaja Pardesi, has been approached to play the parallel lead in Sony Entertainment Television's Chhanchhan.
If things fall in place, the actress will soon start shooting for the show. This new entry is expected to bring about a lot of confusion between the newly-wed couple — Chhanchhan ( Sanaya Irani) and Manav ( Anuj Sachdeva).
Informs a source, "The makers of Chhanchhan are hard-pressed for time, as they need to start shoot with the actress to play the part of a Gujarati girl. Since Pooja has played a Gujarati girl before, the production is convinced that she will carry off the character perfectly. It won't be a negative character."
Pooja remained unavailable for comment.
