difference b/w pamperd and ill-mannered

I get Shekhars agree with Saanchi's every demand but agreeing someone's demand and tolerating his/her immature behaviour is totally different...Shekhars not only allow Saanchi to do whatever she wants in home but also outside...what Saanchi did yesterday was really pathetic...how can she just jump b/w the performance to show her stupid surprise...why did not anyone or at least Shekhars stop her...they should have scolded her for interupting her like that...they are least bothered that she should learn some manners...i swear if Saanchi will get married with Jagya Jaitsarians will leave no chance to insult Shekhars...they will taunt and constantly compare Saanchi and Shiv...i feel Saanchi should insult Shekhars publicly once because it's their fault that they let her do whatever he wants and does not stop her irrational and ill-mannered behaviour 😡

It is entirely 2 different things to be pampered and to be ill- mannered. Just because you are pampered that does not mean you become ill mannered and take advantage if the love.

Even I am the baby not only in my nuclear family but in my entire joint family put together. I am treated and loved like a bacchi but even I have been taught my limits. I have been called "Dhingli" Doll all my life. I am overly pampered by my Bhai-bhabhi and my entire family Cause my Parents are no more But dare I take advantage of that love I will be scolded tight there and then.

Seriously I felt like whacking each and every Shekhar yesterday the way she interrupted Ganga. OMG no one said anything. Saachi toh hai hi besharam but the Shekhar's unhe apni upbringing par sharam nahi aati? At least Ira. The mother is the first teacher of a child.

The Jaitsarians will never insult The Shekhar's because they are their Sapranch Bitiya's saasrawala. Openly they will not say anything but haan peeth peeche in hush hush voices it will happen.

The comparison between Shiv and Saachi; Anandi and Saachi and Ganga and Saachi toh honge hi. She may even be compared with Mannu being such aacha baccha and she being a brat.

She will insult them publicly; I hope that day AnSh give her one tight slap. Shiv will let it stride with the bacchi thing? At least Anandi should slap her because it is not just Saachi's parents; They are her parents in law.

My situation is same like yours...even i am the only child of my parents and because i was born very late i am very much pampered by my parents...but my parents never restrict themselves in putting hold on me...normally the way Saanchi behaved even if parent would not have said anything others would have...if i ever did or say anything wrong in public after my parents even my close relatives or friends would tell me off for misbehaving...and that line by Saanchi ''Jagdish look at me'' was so yuck...it looked like she was trying to seduce and order him 🤢

This is not "pampering"! In our family both boys and girls were pampered and treated with lot of care even after growing up, getting jobs etc. But it's not like no one ever disciplined us and no one taught us to control ourselves at least outside!

I and my cousin sister are the only girls in our family. So both of us were pampered a lot by our brothers also. Even today their only concern is to fulfil our wishes. Sometimes they do things for us without us even asking them for it.

But we did have our share of scoldings and most importantly, sane, reflective talks about behaviour and right and wrong with our elders. They always made us realise consequences of appropriate and inappropriate behaviour and called out to our conscience.

I or my cousin sister would never behave the way Sanchi does! And definitely not in somebody else's house!

I am shocked how all Shekhars were silent and did nothing to limit Sanchi from her tamasha at Singhs' house! 🤢

They should have atleast taken her in a corner and asked her to behave, after that! They still didn't do anything and let her run amok like a wild animal in the party! 😲

Jagya isn't giving bhaav to Sanchi. He was shocked when she hugged him. He did not reciprocate her hug. Even then the "experienced eyes" of senior Shekhars couldn't see that it is all one sided?!

Deal with the girl and counsel her! Instead of breaking pahaad on other people!

Alok had once very casually said that he did nothing except fill Sanchi's coffers with money. See the result!
I blame him equally as other Shekhars. Fathers also have to discipline daughters and are more equipped to tell them how to behave around males. In fact both parents need to sit with kids and tell them important lessons of life!

Looks like shaan wale Shekhars never did anything except eating and laughing in their living rooms!

im baby of my nuclear n extended first family, but since i was a kid i was groomed how to behave at my home and also as a guest at others, even ppl who r known to us or friends we dont just barge in n start behaving as if its our home!

Sacchi needs to be taught some basic manners n ettiquette pronto, even before thinking of her marriage! cnt believe she is supposed city bred!

And I agree that pampering and tolerating ill-manners of a member of family are entirely different things. Sanchi is not pampered, her family is tolerating her insanity and making excuses that she is bachchi.
