Ashima was always nice. She was not like Sanchi. Yes she was close to Shiv and hugged him openly. But that was more due to the open bonding in the foreign culture they both had studied in. And she did not want to change Shiv or fumed at sight of anyone else beside him.

She just hoped friendship would translate into love. And Shiv would understand what she felt for him.

Shiv was clearly not perceptive and sensitive enough to sense her feelings.

She quietly backed off and rather helped him realise his love for Anandi.

I agree TM that she could be used by Sanchi to get back at Anandi or create trouble for Shiv-Anandi in general. But I hope BV CVs don't go this way!

Ashima shouldn't marry Mahi! It may create awkward situations for her, Shiv and Anandi plus Shekhars in general.

And for God's sake I don't want her as a vamp!! That would once again have CVs degrading urban women and ruining even the few good examples of educated urban women this show had!

She showed her greatness by sacrificing her love. Let her remain the large-hearted soul she was. Don't maul her to create drama!

BTW if she marries Mahi and later tries to create trouble between AnSh or plot then it will be similar to KSBKBT in which Payal, Mihir's ex fiance, married his younger cousin Hemant just to get into the Virani family and take revenge of Mihir marrying Tulsi instead of her.
