I don't think Jigs is involved in Pia's initial plan. I think Jigs has thought all along that she has been using Pia against her own sister, when in fact Pia has been using Jigs to her advantage...!!!

Why would Pia deliberately want to break Bani's marriage.....maybe she also found out that Jai had killed there mum in an accident, but does not know the whole truth.

That way once Pia knows the truth she will also be redeemed as nothing physical happened between Jai and Pia.

Now I know what MT means by Pia being out of the Jai, Bani and Tarun equation.
