A few thoughts and questions arising in my mind based on the current situation in BV.
Shekhars
Are they so helpless as is being portrayed in BV, that they can't control their own daughter?
I mean there's the age old saying where to cure their child, mothers do give bitter medicine, as it's for their own good.
So why not here? Are they blind? Which is better, to incur the wrath and handle a wilful child or a daughter who will only go on to ruin a relationship, that too a sacred one that's marriage?
Ira should have brought Sanchi to her senses on the muh dikhayi day itself...letting her off has only put Sanchi under the illusion that she is right and now she's crossing all limits of civility.
Singhs and especially Dadisa
I hope they turn down the proposal and not emotionally blackmail Jagya to marry for Anandi's sake...(can't trust Sumitra to use that angle.)
Also I hope Dadisa wakes up from her slumber and handle this situation shrewdly. Either she approaches Anandi for her opinion or vice versa.
What I would really love to see is that Dadisa invites Sanchi to stay at Singh's house for a month, so that she gets properly acquainted to their way of living lifestyle and there would be no culture shock after marriage. (since she has lived in a more carefree setup)
One can pretend for a few minutes, few hours, few days but not a month...the real self will tend to reveal itself.
Jagya
He might have committed lots of wrong in the past for which he is repenting now. To the extent that he has lost his own identity and is living like a sadhu sant...no joy no sorrow. 1st marriage not his fault, 1st divorce and 2nd marriage was his fault...2nd divorce, that was bound to happen. (has it officially happened?)
so why penalise the guy for a possible 3rd hellish marriage? He will break down...I hope CVs dont go ahead with this JaSan marriage.
Anandi
For someone who can't tolerate injustice, she has to take a stand now. She just can't keep silent and watch this drama. She has to figure out in whom she can trust regarding this matter, share her concern and work out a solution. She may receive flak now but will be appreciated for her wisdom in the future.
If she keeps quiet now and marriage takes place and Jagya faces hell, Anandi will be the major cause of this. The rest of family on both sides can still be forgiven, cause they may not have in depth knowledge of Jagya and Sanchi respectively, but Anandi does.
Sanchi
The main reason all this turmoil started.
Being a modern educated girl, how can her thinking be so low?
She is outright betraying Jagya and the Singhs. Just to impress them, she is pretending to be like them, but has no such plans after marriage. Like how she gets her way with the Shekhars, she has the same plan with the Singhs.
Can't she use her logic that in a relationship, truth and honesty matters...not lying and deception?
What is Jagya, a trophy to be won and then later put as a showpiece?
It's a bit astonishing that Sanchi can stoop to such level to just get her way and find nothing wrong with it.
