Is Adi a child?

I watch this drama on and off and only recently started watching it again because of the storyline of who killed nani. Adi had a right to know the truth, I mean he would have been more angry if later on in life he found out the whole family kept this truth from him. And then Avantika really ticked me off. In the beginning didn't she treat Adi like an employee. It was only after Adi and Pankhudi got married did Avantika open her eyes and see that everything does not revolve around her. Now she decides to make it crystal clear that Adi is her son and no one else has the right to make decisions for him. She didn't even let Pankhudi finish any of her sentences. Im getting really annoyed with how indian dramas portray the mothers. Are their sons still little babies who need to hold onto their mother and have her do everything for them and make decisions for them? Now Avantika is back to her "me, me, me" phase. Poor Pankhudi she doesn't even have the right to even take her own husband out.

I totally agree with you! Avantika needs to back up and Pankhuri needs to stand up for herself, otherwise no one will ever listen to her :)

yeah pankhu needs to do that now..!! avantika's behavior is seriously not expected yaar..:( means is a educated women she should think all the directions.. n pankhu really needs to come out now..!! she too have right on his husband.. n how could avantika forget pankhu has always done best for her family so how can she behave like this.. n she knows that adi always listens to pankhu's advice..she has always been adi's strength..

Avantika's behaviour resembles the behaviour of an uneducated women from a backwater, who tries to control everyone and everything in her family. Like that dumb vicious women in the "Lamp and Wick" show who disgusts me so much I never watch that show. But my aunt does, so I know a bit about it. She is despicable! Her mindset is of someone who has had NO education or exposure in her life! You can't expect better from a stupid and backward women like her!

But Avantika? Who used to head a major corporation? We have to expect lines like "he is my son, I make all the decisions for him"! "You can't take my son out of the house without my permission" etc...tomorrow she will make a huge drama of the fact that he came down to meet Sameer's parents as well? Coz Avantika thought that he should "rest", but Pankhu convinced him to come down?? Get real!!

This plot is entirely stupid, and I expected better from the makers of PKD. But the story has lost it's essence anyway. Now I actually enjoy watching Preeti and Sameer scenes the most. Looking forward to their track!

But Avantika... OMG! Pathetic! Since when did a wife have to get permission from anyone to make a decision on behalf of her husband or to take him out of the house? I understand avantika's concern. But her behaviour and attitude in dealing with this issue is more in par with some dumb village women than a sophisticated and professional city women!!

VERY disappointed!
