"He told me about a 17-year-old girl, Nazanin Fatehi, who was imprisoned in Iran. She had stabbed and killed one of three men who had forced her and her 16-year-old niece to the ground and attempted to rape them. She was sentenced to hang to death as punishment for defending herself, but because the case had gotten international attention, the Iranian officials were going to hold a retrial, which meant there was still hope...n Iran girls get punished for rape, whether they fight back or not. Nazanin had nearly been raped and was about to turn 18 in prison. Soon she might be killed.
The next day I called Amnesty International to see what I could do. I called repeateldy for a month, but they brushed me off. I knew I'd have to take this into my own hands--after all, a girl's LIFE is at stake. So I started an online petition to save Nazanin and told everyone I knew about it. Amnesty International realized how serous I was and helped support my campaign. Now we have more than 220,000 signatures. The United Nations has even raised Nazanin's case to the Iranian authorities. But according to Iranian law, one man's life is worth TWICE as much as a woman's life. That means if a girl kills a man under ANY circumstances, it is seen as ending a life that is legally more valuable than her own."

If Nazanin is hanged, then all the hopes of rape victims who never got justice will be gone
All the souls of those women who were punished for being rape victims will be tormented.
And these poor excuses for men are going to degrade manhood even more.
