Mohan could easily have protected himself against the false kidnapping accusations by exposing Addu but he did not do so. His deep love for Megha prevented him from causing her pain by exposing her son's evil deeds in front of the police, media and the public. Which is why he kept silent and took the blame. He believes that the truth will eventually come out and he need not force it. Thankfully Megha is firmly supportive of her Mohan and her love for him will have no limits when she finds out later that he took all the blame in order to shield Addu. The high point for me would be when she stands by Mohan and is able to see through Addu's evil plans and threatens to disown him if he does not reform !
