TOI has landed up with another piece of exclusive news.
We have learnt from reliable sources that popular show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is all set to return with its second season soon.
The show which aired on Star Plus will be back on Life OK and in all possibilities with an entire new cast. Chances are remote that Barun Sobti, who became an overnight sensation as Arnav Singh Raizada and Sanaya Irani, who played Khushi, are busy with Bollywood and daily soap Chhanchhan respectively, will be a part of season two.

For the last two days, we have been receiving a lot of queries related to the article. People are confused if the article is about the season 2 of Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon or it has just misinterpreted the reruns as a new season. AS the reruns of Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon is also coming back on star Life OK in Hindi as well as in English.
Sorry to disappoint you guys, but the article is solely about the reruns and not about a fresh season. But, hey, don't lose hope as we have something that can make your day. When we were trying to contact TOI to clear the confusion about the article, we contacted some of our sources, and guess what...some of our sources have told us something that really made our day. As our sources informed us, the channel is overwhelmed with the popularity of the show, and is seriously considering about the season 2. Although the idea is still at the discussion level, it may soon be turned into reality. According to our sources, the response and requests the channel is receiving everyday even after the seven months has encouraged the channel to think about the season 2.
As both the actors, Barun and Sanaya, are busy in their current projects, it is the biggest concern of the channel to get them back together. Our source also told us that the story-line and the star-cast would me completely different this time. The channel has been thinking of all kind of possibilities like reincarnation and reverse roles etc. So if the channel gets a nod from both Barun and Sanaya, it may bring the season 2 of the show by February 2014.
