I know you must have checked that source carefully, Riyya, and I have not,but does he mention any of Akbar's other queens? There were definitely several Rajput ones besides Jodha. If he does not, it probably means that he wanted to focus only on the Muslim queens. I will try and investigate this further and revert.
However,
there is no doubt at all, no matter which historian you go by, that Jahangir/Salim was the son of Akbar and the first Rajput princess he married. So there was one such queen, without the shadow of a doubt, but whether she was called Jodha was a major controversy.
When he made the film in 2008, Ashutosh Gowarikar had done a lot of research and cited many very eminent historians to back up the role of Jodha , but he too never insisted that this was her only name, and put in a limited disclaimer to that effect.

but why there was no mention of it in akhbarnama (Credit : tanthya). It was kind of stated abt rugaiya his fist wife but noting mention abt jodha 😕...

No, she was not an imaginary character. The historical accounts all speak of a Kachchwaha princess of Amer who was married to Jalaluddin and was the mother of Salim, later the Emperor Jahangir.
The confusion is only about her name - she is also called Harkat Bai,and other names - and about whether she converted to Islam, which seems to have happened. But other Rajput princesses who married Akbar did not convert, so apparent;y there was no compulsion.
Both in the film, and I expect here too, they showed/ will show that she was allowed to remain a Hindu.
