Omg! I just spoke to Ashwini Kalsekar (ex-Jigayasa) on the phone. A friend of mine gave me her cell number and I thought she was lying so I finally decided to call today and it was a real number! 😳
It was so nice talking to her. I told her how much I loved her as Jigayasa and loved to hated her character and she started laughing. I asked her if she was going to come back and she said no, she won't be doing any shows with Zee TV. 😕 But has two shows in line. Both are on Sony. The show that is coming on in February is by the creators of Jassi Jaisa Koi Nahin and she plays a out and out negative character in it. She said her character never wants to see anyone happy and if I hated her as Jigs, I will hate her even more in the new show. She said the promos are on Sony right now but the show will be going on air in february and she has been shooting for it. She said people will love her character in the new show because its a negative character. I said, negative characters suit her and she started laughing and said thanks. Then she was like she loves the story, the clothes she gets to wear and everything is going great. She was like its very unlike the character of Jigayasa as its not very loud. She was like, its like a female version of Jai Walia. She said she was having a ball so far and wanted me to get back to her when I watched it.
I told her about India-Forums and asked her if she is registered and she said no. I told her she had a lot of fans here and she should join. She said Really? I will def. do that.
She was so sweet. She asked me where I was from? I told her originally from Pakistan but I live in US. She asked me what I do so I told her studying accounting/MBA and she was like, that's awesome. God Bless you and I hope you are succcessful. She then asked me if I've ever been to India and I told her no, but its been a dream of me to go there cuz I am a huge fan of Salman Khan and would love to visit Bandra. She was like really, your a huge fan of him? I told her yeah. She was like, I hope then you come to visit and you can see everything in Bandra. I told her that I feel like when I come to India, it will be like coming home as everything is same as Pakistan and she said yeah it is and you will feel so welcomed here because everyone is very sweet here. She was like do you have sms system and I told her I did, so she was like give me your number and I will keep in touch with you through sms. She wrote down my full name and my phone number. She was such a sweetheart. She was like, I told my schedular on the set to let me come in a little later today. She was like a friend just called and it's noon here and he was like, ur still sleeping? 😆 She was like, I told him yeah because I've been so busy I never get to take a break so I'm going in late today. I thought that was the cutest thing she said lol!
She told me about Ram being a brother to her and how she tied him a rakhi. I told her that was really sweet of her even though he went home slept. She started laughing and was like, yeah but he got me double gifts and even Gautami got me a gift. She was like I love pure silver and he got me not one but two silver necklaces and so did Guatami. She was like now Roshni Chopra (Pia) wants to tie him a rakhi too. I was started laughing and was like, if you get double gifts, I would too. She started laughing and was like, now everyone wants to tie him a rakhi.
I told her to tell him I am a huge fan of him and I hope I get to talk to him someday and she said she will surely tell him and will keep in touch with me and that I should also keep in touch with her.
She was like thank you so much for calling, I will also keep in touch with you, God Bless and I hope you come to Mumbai some day. I told her that it was great talking to her, she's really sweet and so personalable.
Guys, I literally spoke to her for about fifteen minutes. She spoke to me as if she was talking to a friend. She was so friendly, answering questions, and asking me about my personal life. I can't get over the fact how friendly she is.
I'm so glad I decided to call Ashwini because it was totally amazing.

I told Ashwini that I was a huge fan of Prachi as well and am amazed at her acting skills. She was like, yeah she is something, isn't she? I told her that someone so young like her really is a natural born. She was like yeah she is. She does a great job and is a very nice girl. I told her I can't believe how good she is because she's few months younger than me. She was like really? I was like yeah just turned 18 and I just turned 19. She was like, ohh how cool. She said she really liked Prachi and had a ball working with her.
