CHAPTER 7

In the blue sky floats a multitude of clouds , white , black of many shades and thickness , a bright moon lightening up the whole city , the wind blows as it lists , a hurricane , now craving shapes and just then breaking apart a myriad scenes though real yet fantastic , there light clouds spread , heaping up spun cotton ; below the sea sings a varied music , the water widely praised murmur music in the soothing cadence without a harsh roar , appearing shinning waves countless as they walked leaving there footsteps behind the sand , not hand in hand but close enough to feel each other breath , his eyes fixed on her face as the water droplets peacefully settled on her , the moon peeped up from the drifting clodlets and frowned , as it seemed , their apartness even the heavens knew they were made just for each other and time would do its magic to heal the wounds ,the still air was heavy with fragrance of Chinese lantern , , somewhere in the distance beyond the devils had their thorns ready to destroy the little happiness they had as manyata mumbled to herself

MANYATA:this was the bestest birthday I ever had

This was not missed by uday as he looked at her and asked

UDAY:today your birthday why did you not tell?

MANYATA:seems like here you have vampire ears hahaha

He caught her arms gently and piercing his eyes into hers he said

UDAY:you should have told me before I could make more preparation I mean I left you and went to office I am so sorry ok come on we still have two whole hour to celebrate

He said dragging her arm but she stopped him , she stood their her eyes were already moist as she said

MANYATA:I do not celebrate my birthday uday never

UDAY:but why ?...

MANYATA:my birthday has many bad memories I … I killed my parents on that day

UDAY:you killed…… what happened please tell me

Manyata looked up at him , this was the darkest secret of her life and she did not ever said this to anybody as they stood their rooted to their position a flashes of that day came to her mind

FLASHBACK

Little three year old manyata skipped out of the car and hung on her dadi 's neck , they were followed by manyata parents , as they admired the granddaughter and grand mother bonding it was true that during those days manyata was the apple of her granny eyes , she was loved by her and to her granny meant her world as they were seated in the car while her parents sat back she was ds was in the back seat , she narrated her tales of school to dadisabh as she admired the little onces innocence and caressed her face there was lots of traffic that day , it was manyata birthday and they all had planned to visit the zoo which was manyata favorite as to her their was her twin sister her elephant she was a complete crazy fans of elephant and that could be understood as that day she even had a cute elephant printed shirt she was being all jumpy as her mother scolded her once or twice as her action was disturbing her dad from driving but her dadisabh quitened her mom telling her a kid only , they went to the zoo and had fun , her father put her on the shoulder and made her take rounds of the zoo and after a long day finally they were driving back both her mom and dadi had slept out of exhortion as she was now in the passenger seat as her father was driving she was playing with the cute elephant toy her father had purchased

MANYATA:daddy look isn't it cute

DAD:not now bacha let ,me drive

MANYATA:dad see no pleaszz

She said while pulling his arms with her tiny hands while he smiled at his little daughter , but did not pay attention to her words the roads were covered with fog and it was so hard for him to drive in the darkness as the truck seemed to race among themselves , but all the little girl wanted was her dad attention as she pulled into his arms a mistake that she would have to pay for her entire life ,her dad lost control over the steering and soon the car got disbalanced and landed itself on the tree. They were taken to hospital her parents were declared dead .

END OF FLASHBACK

She looked up at him , his face had a lot of confusion she had never shared this secret with anyone and even now she feared telling him her heart was frozen again her eyes lost its sparkle as all she said was

MANYATA:lets us go it is getting late na

She made a move to go but her hands were held back by uday as she looked at him he said

UDAY:I am not forcing you but sometimes telling the truth makes us feel light

MANYATA:I do know but some truth are too bitter to explain

UDAY:but sometimes after confessing thing are much easier than we think

She faked a smile at him and said

MANYATA:what do you want to know ?

UDAY:the reason

MANYATA: reason for what uday?

He drew himself closer as he wiped a lone tears from her eyes and said

UDAY:the reason behind this tear on your eyes will you say this to me

Normally she would die than to say this to anyone but maybe she herself had no idea why but she confessed to him , for the first time she said this , she shared her secret with him , after all this is the vows that they took while marriage to not to hide anything and trust each other , after she completed her part of story there was hot tears from her eyes his hands rounded her waist while her head rested on his shoulder , she cluncted to his shirt and tears flooding her eyes he was well aware that it was time she littened up her heart and cried a bit still a his heart pinched as he saw her tears she mumbled to herself and kept crying so much that at times she even found it hard to breath while he held her and wiped each tear from her eyes and he looked down to her face and he wanted to stop her from crying as he even tried to say

UDAY:it is ok it was not your fault don't cry please stop

MANYATA:no it was all my fault I killed them uday

UDAY:no manyata it was not because of you manyata stop crying please

MANYATA:no no I killed my own parents

The guilt was killing her and he no longer could bare to see her that way she was completely broken the only way to stop her tears was through her mouth as he drew his face closer to hers , his heavy breath fell on her face she looked at him , time had paused for both she stepped her legs back but he got hold of her waist and pulled her face even closer he minimized their distance and finally they MEET ,his hard manly met her soft quivering lips he had driven insane by the taste of her lips as his tongue softly explored her each corner of her mouth while she stood their too shocked to react , he could feel that she did not response but to him it did not matter he was busy enjoying the sweetness of her lips , he bite and nibbled her lower lips her lips were being totally controlled by his tongue he caught hold of her hair to get a better asset of her mouth but just found himself pushed away by her , she pushed him apart from her ….
