Guys this is going to be a long post so if u wanna read go ahead but I promise u will enjoy it
My favorite has always been Saras not because gautam is playing it I mean yea he is hot nd all I do love. Some of u would know I'm crazy bout him cause all the posts I have made have been about him but in this post I wanna tell u guys the Saras I see.
What I see is not just an ordinary person but a person who is grown up but yet from the inside he is still that 4 year old kid. He's been that kid since the day of his mothers death. He's still that same kid, the kid his mother has left nd has not changed since then; however, he has begun to hold all that anguish, sorrow, depression inside of him because he's searching for that love that warmth that he used to get from his mother. He needs that comfort again in order to grow up like an normal human being would.
He's not that same cliche hero in every show whose shown to stay angry nd all of sudden changes because he falls in love. Rather he's someone who still a child and needs nurturing, teachings, love, warmth, comfort and that feeling u get when u are being loved by someone!
And I'm sure everyone of u have received that feeling be it from ur mother father siblings or husband or anyone else. He needs those few words that will assure him that he's not alone but has loved ones like any other normal human being!
I mean he's different yet hes capable of doing so much but at the same time so less too. He is someone who could love u immensely but doesn't know how to show it or convey it some how. His inner emotions and actions is what makes him different nd a character that is very different yet catchy! That's what I thought if him when I started to watch this show! I loved this character so much from the beginning. He wasn't those typical heros who always stay angry but then all off sudden fall in love nd change. What makes him different is that he isn't angry or hold a grudge against anyone but is like a small kid who needs to be taught how to love or be able to maintain a relationship! Or make a new relationship!
And by chance if u guys have heard the title song of Saraswatichandra. It isn't a love background music for when he falls in love yes thats how its usedbut yet it's those couple of words that describe him, it has a whole different meaning if u look at it in my perspective

What my point of giving the lyrics of this song were the first three lines ( kuch na Kahe...bass chup rahe...khamoshiyaan hi keh jaye...that jaye yeh jahan aur pal Bhi theher jaye..) was that its saying how he stays quiet despite the fact of wanting to say something but doesn't nd all those emotions just keep building inside of him killing a piece of him everyday.
Then the second stanze says he says everything to her and they become close but yet their still distant and don't know why. Therefore don't how to disperse the distance.
Lastly the last stanza is how even though he's right beside her they will always have separate destinations and even if they want to they don't know how to combine their paths!
Where kumud comes in is because after his mothers death kumud was the one who tried to make him talk, smile, laugh, express his feelings, enjoy life or tried to teach what life is or the meaning of life. In short how to live. Yes we are taught by our guardians or loved ones manners and how to face life at the same time we are taught to enjoy every minute second of ur life cause u never know when it will get snatched away from u! Saras knows how to go by life but he doesn't know the meaning nd the value of life. Kumud helps him learn that by her love. He feels that warmth and comfort when's he's with her that he had never received, when he had pre-martial sex with her it was to show her what she means to him. He thought at that moment it was the only way to tell her that she is his everything! He had begun to live once he had expressed his feelings to kumud but yet still needs to learn how there are others way to show/express Them. Not only that but she had brought his father to him, she was capable of bringing an parental comfort to him, someone who would go up to him and say "I'm proud of you son" someone who would hug his son proudly nd go like yes u see that that's my son. Someone that will put a hand on top of head nd say " son I have faith in you"
All those years when he had performed Pooja and had brought the prasad for his father he was always rejected so crucially that it just made his mental state even worse! His only way of being close to someone he loved was by Pooja so he could feel his mothers warmth.
When he had come to kumuds house and Mai kumuds Bari maa fed Saras he was so overwhelmed by that feeling because it was a feeling he had been desperately wanting to feel. It was that lost wound that had been healed by that small action.
His most difficult task in life is to trust kumud but at the same time his biggest fear is loosing her. He knows that if he looses her he will never be able to come back to life. All those healed wounds would once again be harmed to an great extent leading to no cure.
Saras has so many qualities in him but he holds his fears with them which end up over taking his qualities making him look like some desperate heart wrenched emotional loser.
Just as he began to come towards life and start to believe in himself and that he is capable and has the ability to pursue a relationship everything shatters when his father looses that deal and he blames himself for it. Once again he not wanting to but goes back to that trauma which he had just begun to come out of.
Now what I think is that he will need to come out of it himself. This time he will not get a kumud to help him he will only have himself and his dilemma. He will need to bring that strength nd motivation out of him in order to live!
From now on u will see a post from me on every episode on Saras!
