She sat there on the lawns of hotel in srinager.the hotel was on the banks of dal lake.it was nearly evening.All her friends had come to Kashmir for celebrating her bday.They all had gone to shopping leaving behind her only.she knew they must be at the party venue decorating and shopping was just an excuse. cool breeze starting n she felt her heart going dhak dhak n beating
faster than usual. 'I can feel him...he is somewhere near...very near "she looked at her surroundings

"I read it in newspaper that he is
in London...then how could he be
here"she thought shuchi was in love with her childhood friend barun.they were the coolest couple of college.Barun went to work in shows n films and never looked back.shuchi thought that he has forgotten her n moved on. Her mobile broke her chain of thoughts she opened to see a msg
from meghu "your dress is in your room.go get ready...a shikara driver is waiting for u outside the hotel" shuchi wore the black Saree n went where a shikara was waiting for her.the shikara moved slowly through the waters of dal and reached the a small island called
char-chinar.On four corners of char chinar were four magnificent chinar trees and between the island park was a gazebo.the path towards gazebo was laden with flowers.the water reflected the moonlight and the atmosphere

was complete romantic and serene one.With each step her heart beat was increasing. she went inside the gazebo and found a table and two chairs and
a cake.she felt some pressure on her shoulders ...she turned around to see the same smirking face winking at her
naughtily .shocked would be an
understatement. she thought she was
dreaming.she closed her eyes dreading the dream would break if she opened her eyes. "I am here for real
sweetheart.."he pinched her nose. her eyes brimmed with tears.Barun couldnt see his lady love crying.he hugged her.
"no more tears..."he hugged her "where were you all these years..how did u know am here...I am talking to you..."she bombarded him with questions "ask koi sawal nahi..just me u n love...gilee shikwe shikayate baad mein.." "ahh cake katein..."he said and took her towards the table.

They together cut the cake and feeded each other.some cake got smeared on shuchi's lips.Barun wiped that with his fingers.shuchi was feeling very shy. "hey beautiful...can I have a dance with you"saying dis he pulled her by her waist and started dancing.Barun played her fav song on his cell

soon they left for hotel .they reached the hotel and it was complete dark inside.suddenly kavs came singing bday song and hugged shuchi
"happy birthday shuchi...u n Barun are together am so happy"kavs now hugged both together
"Mujhe b thodi si space milegi kya..."neeli's voice came from behind
Shuchi was so surprised.soon neeli joined the hug.
"am so happy to see you guys here...this is the best bday ever"said shuchi teary eyed

Meghu:are hum sab ne kitni mehnat ki sabko manane k liye...we also deserve a hug
sree:only I know how much buttering I had to of sandeep jiju to let kavs come to Kashmir
shru:I came from Australia..went to Mumbai and made neeli to come here
