Okay so when I saw the spoiler pics of Humeira in saree and with sindoor I couldn't help but come up with this wild imagination. And since I had decided to write an after story of my completed asya ff about a good ending for Ayaan & Humeira I thought this was the best. also many of my readers did ask me to write something on ayra(that's what everyone calls them now)So here goes the SS. I do hope you people enjoy it.
Btw this is the first time I am writing something on Ayaan and Humeira. So I would appreciate your feedback very much.
PS: all those who have not read my ff on asya, I would suggest you read it to get the reason why Ayaan is angry with Humeira.

Humeira walked up to Ayaan's room but did not dare enter. The tears stung her eyes. All she wanted was to make things as they were but she knew that it was too late. She turned around to go but bumped into Ayaan. Both lost their balance and Ayaan turned her around so that he could cushion her fall. When Humeira opened her eyes and saw Ayaan moaning in pain below her it brought tears to her eyes.
She quickly got up from over him. Ayaan got up and, completely ignoring her, went inside the room. Humeira turned again to leave but this time she stopped in her tracks and walked back to where Ayaan stood.
"Ayaan."
Ayaan did not turn.
"Ayaan mujhe aapse baat karni hai."
"lekin mujhe kuch baat nahi karni Humeira."
She lost it and pulled on his arm to make him face her.
"aap mujhse nafrat karte hai na? toh girne dete mujhe. Kyun bachaya."
Ayaan just looked away and did not bother to answer.
"Ayaan!"
"get out Humeira."
Humeira was stung. And that one sentence cut like a knife through her heart. The tears she was holding in just burst out at that moment so she hid her face and ran out of the room.
Ayaan turned around to stop her, to tell her he didn't mean to hurt her but she was gone. Ayaan didn't hate her. She was wrong in that aspect. It was just that whenever he saw her he would remember the woman who killed his mother. And that would hurt him. But what hurt him more that Humeira was his best friend and he could not bring himself to look at her without seeing past his mother's death. He sat on the bed and covered his eyes and let the tears flow.
"Humeira?" Ayaan suddenly said out loud as he realised that humeira had just ran out crying. He cursed himself for making her cry and ran behind her. He saw her go out the door and he ran after her.

Humeira ran out of the house nit even aware of where she was running to. Zoya who was in her room by the window saw Humeira run out crying and quickly got up to run behind her but lost her balance thanks to her injured leg. She was about to hit the ground when Asad's strong arms caught her.
"Zoya? Tum kar kya rahi thi? Ek jagah chup chap baithna toh mano tumhare bus mein hi nahi."
"Asad'Asad please Humeira ke piche jao aur dekho na who kyun parishan hai. She just ran out the gate crying."
"Humeira? Okay okay Zoya. Main ja kar dekhta hoon. You wait here."
After helping Zoya sit on the bed Asad ran down to catch up with Humeira.

Humeira ran but she couldn't see where she was running. Her vision was blurred by the tears. She could hear a lot of noises but it felt good for those noises drowned out Ayaan's voice in her head.

Ayaan saw Humeira cross the divider and reach the centre of the road.
"Humeira!"
Humeira heard Ayaan's voice and stopped. She wiped her tears and that's when she realised where she was. She looked frightened on both sides to realise she was on the highway. She got nervous and tried to get away but just ended up almost getting crushed by an SUV. She heard Ayaan call out to her again and she turned.
"Humeira. Wahi ruko. Main aa raha hoon."
Ayaan desperately tried to make his way through the speeding cars. He bumped into one car whose driver fortunately hit the brake in time. The driver cursed at him but Ayaan's total focus was to get to Humeira. Ayaan reached the divider when he slipped by mistake and almost ended up falling. A car was speeding toward him and Ayaan was losing his balance.
"Ayaan!"
Humeira without thinking and looking around moved forward towards Ayaan. Ayaan in the nick of time steadied himself and the car missed him just by inches. Ayaan sighed and looked up to see Humeira coming towards him.
"Humeira stop!"
That's when Humeira looked to her right and her eyes widened at the site of a huge truck coming towards her. She was just at arm's length and Ayaan stretch his arm to get a hold of her. He caught on to her dhupatta and that moment it self the truck hit her. Right in front of his eyes Humeira went flying into the air and fell on the floor hitting the back of her head.
All people started to move towards Humeira who was lying still on the ground. Ayaan on the other hand was shocked. He couldn't move. He could see Humeira gasp for breath. That's when Asad came there and shook Ayaan to break him out of his shock.
Ayaan looked into the distressed face of his elder brother and then the moment sunk in. the dhupatta still in his hand Ayaan ran wildly towards Humeira and picked her up in his arms.
"Humeira! Humeira!!"
Humeira's eyes fluttered open for a second and then shut again as her body went still.

"aap log operation start kyun nahi kar rahe hai?" Ayaan was holding on to his sanity by a thread as he asked the doctor.
The doctor realised it was no use reasoning with Ayaan so he turned to Asad, "mr khan we need a signed form from her relative in case of her death during operation. I cannot help it."
Asad looked at him irritated, "doctor I understand aur Humeira ki behen, Zoya aa rahi hai. Tab tak aap chalu kijiye."
"I can't mr khan, its illegal'."
"so aap usse ek form ke liye marne denge?!" screamed Ayaan at last losing it.
The doctor sighed and turned to Ayaan. "aap unke kya lagte hai? Agar aap unke husband ya even mangetar hote toh aapse hi hum ye form temporary basis par sign karva lete but'"
"who meri mangetar hai." Said Ayaan without even thinking. Asad looked at him astonished but did not say anything.
"oh'toh aapne pehle kyun nahi bataya. Nurse, inse who form sign karva lijiye."
Ayaan looked through the glass window at Humeira who was covered in bandages and walked after the nurse.

"Zoya, are you sure?"
"yes mr khan. Aap ja kar Ayaan ke pas baithiye."
Asad looked at dilshad who assured him that she would stay by Zoya. Then he walked towards Ayaan who was leaning on the wall, facing the operation theatre. he placed his hand on Ayaan's shoulder but did not say anything.
"bhaijaan, aap jante hai ab jaisa mujhe lag raha hai waisa mujhe pehle bhi lag chukka hai. Yeh feeling maine pehle bhi mehsus kiyi hai."
Asad looked at him confused.
"yeh feeling waisi hi hai jaisi maine ammi ki maut par mehsus kiyi thi."
Asad could not help but tear up. His little brother had just lost his ammi almost a month back and now Humeira? This was not fair.
Nikhat and Najima had both sat with their father who tried to make them stop crying. Nuzat had hugged dilshad and was looking into a distance. Zoya on the other hand was calm. The fear of losing the only family she had left was eating her from inside but she would not let anyone see it. Asad knew that but right now Ayaan needed him more. Ayaan was desperate blaming himself over and over again. He kept saying that it was his fault that Humeira was in this condition.
The doctor came out and Ayaan ran to him.
"doctor?"
"well the operation was successful but we still can't anything till she is awake. Unhe brain mein chot lagi hai. And it was a case of internal bleeding so I don't wain to give you any false hopes. Let us pray that she wakes up in the next 24 hours or there is a 70% possibility that she might go into a comatose."
Ayaan covered his face with his hands as he heard this.

The doctor came out of the Humeira's ward smiling. Ayaan, Zoya Asad and Nikhat who were the only people who had stayed behind in the hospital got up from their chirs. Zoya still holding Asad for support.
"call it a miracle, but she is awake. One of you can meet her."
"I'll go." Said Ayaan and Zoya both at the same time. but then Ayaan thought it over and decided that it would definitely be better to let Zoya go.

Zoya slowly entered without making a noise like the doctor had warned her to. Since Humeira had suffered a head injury any small noise could give her severe migraine.
Zoya walked to her bed and said slowly, "hey'"
Humeira opened her eyes and stared blankly at Zoya.
"kya aap meri doctor hai? Lagta toh nahi."
That stunned Zoya. She thought for a moment that Humeira was playing a prank.
"Humeira'yeh kaisa Mazak hai?"
"Mazak?" Humeira said confused.
Zoya almost lost her balance. She just stared at Humeira. She had to get out of here. Talk to the doctor. What the hell was wrong with her little sister?
"Humeira just a minute and I'll be back. Mujhe doctor se kuch important baat karni hai." Saying this Zoya ran out. She closed the door behind her and slid down against it. Asad and Ayaan both looked up and saw her. They ran to her.
Asad: Zoya tum thik ho?
Ayaan: Humeira ko kuch hua toh nahi.
Zoya shook her head in negative and then leaned against Asad chest. Both the brothers looked at her confused. Zoya hid her face in Asad's shirt and started crying.
"aisa kyun karte hai allah miyan mere saath. Humesha mujhe meri family de kar chin lete hai. Ammi ko diya aur phir apne pas bulaliya. Abbu ko diya par meri ammi ke chinne ki wajah bana kar. Aur ab Humeira ko diya aur uski yadon se mujhe nikal diya."
"Zoya tum kya kehna chahti ho?"
"she doesn't remember me Asad. Humeira doesn't remember me."
Asad was shocked but Ayaan was beyond shocked. He was scared.

Please tell me how it is. And let me tell you that I will start a beautiful sunset very soon. Just because I started this SS doesn't mean I have given up on a beautiful sunset.
