Would she forgive him?

I wouldn't forgive him. If he cares more about the deal than his life partner I would never forgive him.

Question is will Forum forgive Kumud? For not 'understanding' a lost/traumatised Saras 'mistakenly' forfeiting her and Kumud not waiting for him...and caving in??

i concure with Shana, obviously she will be forced by her family into wrong and unhappy marriage.

she will not be happy with any marriage unlike kumud in the novel and movie (in the novel, she doesn't want to marry but later she accepted) due to two reasons-
1. She may not forgive him but her love for him was true so which she can't,
2. She is not the one who will never be true to husband cause she has lost her virginity so If she get married to someone else, she will never be true to him and feel like cheating on him which she definitely can't..

I think its a different scenario.. In the earlier case, she was unaware of his past and the reasons of his actions..and he didn't love her then.. now she knows he loves her and for him to go missing on the wedding day will be more of a reason to worry than angry..its not the same as hurting her pride or ego.. this is like taking her life away from her.. she knows how much they both are waiting for this day.. why did he fail ''them'' so many questions, yet no answer.. she's gonna be devastated.. the way her character has shaped up now, it seems she will be broken, agonized and completely withdrawn into a shell just like Saras.. like a lifeless body..that's how I can picture Kumud.. not angry..

i agree with vaishali, she might become lifeless and agony struck, she will not react the way she reacted when saras rejected her initially...as far as forgiveness is concerned she will not be able to forget it for a long time...more or less like paro devdas story.
