Karan, who was recently in the city of Pushkar to shoot for a dramatic sequence, said, "I am happy that my character is growing in the serial. There are many layers in my role but I don't relate to it in real life. My character is contemporary but the thought process of the person I am portraying onscreen is traditional".
Qubool Hai team shot a separation scene between the two leads - Karan and Surbhi Jyoti (Zoya)- in Pushkar. The shoot opens up with a sad scene, where the couple has split and are parting ways with the song Tadap Tadap playing in the backdrop. "It's tough to shoot in extreme heat here. As the song is based on separation in the film, it is accurate for the situation that we are going through in the show," Karan said.
In order to play his character perfectly, Karan had to learn Urdu and concentrate on the diction. "Most of my learning took place on the sets. I didn't take any special training. My producer (Gul Khan) helped me with the diction. Script also helped me to learn the mannerism," the actor said.
Speaking about his journey on small screen, KSG said, "I have started my career in showbiz as a model but I didn't do well. I was actually a hotel management student and was also working at a hotel in Muscat and today I am an actor. It all depends on the luck and that's why I don't plan my career".
Great going Karan!
