so true!! having had the experience of SNS myelf specially in the 1st 1 year..and seeing CC doing the same things and doing them differently it is like a breath of fresh air!!
that is why we said this was not a regressive saas bahu show.. Sanaya would never do one of them cz she cannot stand them..

this is CC's journey n thus it can be treated as that 😳

Sunara what a beautiful post...as endearing as the scenes...

Yes the CVs are keeping their promise...a very sweet love story unfolds in front of us...a deeper kind of love...and it is so real and believable...just like a very normal married couple who are deeply in love...

thanks di 🤗
short n sweet that sums up their story..its real true kind of love..little steps, small nuances adding up to building a very deep bond b/w the 2 of them..they r equal partners in this relationship..very normal and deeply in love..thus natural caring comes across so beautifully 😳

Sunara ..muah. What a wonderful post. Love doesn't mean long eyelocks with violins playing in the background (though I love seeing those on TV) , it means helping each other out in difficult situations. Romance is not love, it's a part of it. And if a man focuses only on romance, while leaving the wife to deal with everyday hassles by herself, I wouldn't call him a good husband. But if he reaches out and sticks with her through thick and thin, like a true partner, no one needs flowery words. Actions have more meaning than empty promises, woh to humaare neta log bhi karte rehte hain . Pati ko bolna kam, aur nibhaana zyaada chahiye.

thank u! 😳

so true i agree with the red part very much.. but also what u said about romance being only a part of love..that is actually correct..
and when a man leaves a wife to toil and exhaust herself and then only try to romance how will she be in a fresh mind to give her best to it too..that is where the small ways he can help her in day to day life becomes so valuable..it makes the love grow deeper and more profound when he understands her troubles and his heart calls out for him to do his best to ease her burden..😃

Beautifully put.
I am also one of those who gets bothered when I see the women not being treated as equals. Not all women, UB and her daughter are treated fine. BTW, I have never seen the daughter do any work!
And I also used to be bothered (and to be honest, still do) that Manav is not being considerate of his wife. But you're right, it's what he has seen his entire life. The change has to come from both of them. And it will come. Slowly. So, yeah, baby steps.
It's a beginning...

Great post. You have a way with words!

it means Saath Nibhana Saathiya the 7 'O clock show on SP..regressive to the core! i can't believe i used to watch it b4 IPK happened but it gives a good referencing point to know what i don't ever want to see in a show! 😆

than you 🤗
umm.. u need to read this next post of mine to understand just how much gender inequality bothers me..

yes the daughter is allowed much much more leverage over men..but even she is a 2nd class citizen to UB when compared to her son..remember what Mansi told Rugwed in her intro scene.. that allowing her in to the college is a big deal in her family cz of the archaic rules they have for the females (minus UB..she gets away scot free!)

anyway here what happens with manav is not a clash of ideologies..but simply loving and caring for her means he just do things for her..he doesn't even realize he has broken any norms in the house or anything..in his words 'how can i take rest when i know u r tiring urself working here..' n that is all there is to it..and it couldn't have been more beautiful..😳
