Do you know Balaji Telefilms's 'Itihaas'

Hi Guys!

Sorry for bothering you here but since long I am searching for the name of an actor I loved .

It was Balaji Telefilms serial ''Itihaas''

When the show was on air I was a kid so I remember not teh name of characters and to be honest that time we never had forums and all so never bothered about teh real name of characters. But I do remember that the background music of the show always spell bounded me!😊


Smita Bansal (Sumitra of Balika Vadhu and a contestant of Nach Baliye) played estranged daughter of Princess Ambika (Also known as Shivani and A;leeza in double role) All I am curious to know is the name of the character who played Princess Ambika/Shivani in Itihaas! It was a heartthrobbing story of Three sisters Sheetal Shivani/Ambika and Suneeta One of them was played by Prabha Sinha(She also played Sumit's mother in Kkmkum) But I am only intersted in teh actor who played Smita (Padmini) 's mother in the show!

I wish I cud have asked it from Smita herself!

I researched a lot but no clues about the actor!

If you remember, Savita Prabhune , our "Sulochana' also had a role in it as a positive character turned negative! Probably as Smita's Dai ma or something! Didnt know that "Itihaas " was a Balaji serial. It was aired on DD I think?

yes I do remember that show. I watched when I was young. that was the first BT I watched in doordharsan.

And yes viswap I remember Sulocjna Aaayee Played Kaushlaya Ma to Padmini and even her hair style was same as in Pavitra Rishta! 😊
And Thank you so much for telling that she was also in a serial named Banegi...' I never knew! Wud love to watch it on Youtube if i l get to! the story is not so fresh in my menory as its been long but I know I was crazy for Chandrkanta Shanti and Itihaas in our gud old Doordarshan days!
