Viren and Jeevika finally left their hotel room to spend some time with each other and this fun-filled city. Their life was full of responsibilities and the two never had a chance to actually enjoy time with each other or to live. Viren knew how much this bothered Jeevika, especially the initial choice of starting a family so young. The two walked around talking about the time they have spent together and the time to come.
v - "You ever wonder what life would be like if we didn't get married five years ago. Or if we hadn't made the decisions we had made once upon a time"
j - "I don't because it scares me"
v - "Why?"
j - "Because now I can't imagine my life without you nor Zaaine. I don't think I would have ever forgiven myself if you didn't force me to start a family"
v - "Don't you think though that if we didn't have Zaaine and if we were still dating or just engaged our life would be less stressful"
j - "Not really. Its not like we didn't have stress back then. I remember the day of our wedding I was worrying about my clinical exams. Stress and worries are something that can never go"
v - "I guess, and it only gets bigger from here"
j - "Bigger and better"
v - "I'm guessing you're hungry now"
Jeevika just smiled at Viren and he smiled back.
v - "I'm so good"
j - "no you're just my husband so you know me too well" she said getting in between his arms so he hugged her.
v - "That too. Now let me also guess what you feel like having"
j - "Try"
v - "You want'. uhmmm Chinese"
j - "Nope!"
v - "WHAT? Thats your favorite"
j - "Not in the mood"
v - "Then what else do you want?"
j - "Whatever you want to eat. Really don't care what I just want to be here with you"
v - "Only me? Or are you missing Zaaine?"
j - "No today just you and me"
v - "Okay let's go for sushi then. Good?"
j - "Sounds good"
After walking some more the two of them finally found their favorite Japanese resuaraunt. Viren went to talk to the waiter while Jeevika waited on the couch looking through her phone. She got a message from Zoya saying they were at Toys'R'Us again with Zaaine. Jeevika couldn't stop smiling at how cute Zaaine was. Viren walked to her and led her to their table.
v - "Why were you smiling at your phone?"
j - "Zaaine dragged Karan and Zoya to Toys'R'Us again. They're having the time of their life.. well at least he is"
v - "I wonder why he wanted to go there again"
j - "He's Zaaine' unpredictable like you"
v - "Yeah you are the only one who is normal"
j - "I'm glad you agree" 😆
v - "Order fast' I'm starving"
The two of them had their small and quiet dinner together before they headed out for the night. They wanted to go to Central Park which was a good 20 minute walk, but Jeevika was too tired too. Viren called the cab and the two of them headed out to go ice skating together which they both were really excited about. Never having time alone they wished they could do more fun things that they missed out on the past few years because of their respobilities and their career. Viren went to go get their skates while Jeevika waited on the bench for him. It was a beautiful night and a chilly one as well. Their was slight snow, but the warmth of Viren made it all better for her. They both quickly put on their skates and head out to have a good time. Everything seemed perfect right now. The music playing, the snow falling, and most of all the smiles on the two of their faces ❤️ It couldn't be better than this! The perfect two held hands and skated for quite sometime before they both were tired. They left Central Park around 10 and had some of Zaaine's favorite "coffee" nearby. The weather was perfect for two cups of hot chocolate.
j - "I miss Zaaine now. Hot chocolate doesn't seem complete without him"
v - "He's already asleep. Karan said he was exhausted today"
j - "My poor little baby. Let's go back and pick him up. I miss him"
v - "Already?"
j - "Yes already"
v - "No let him sleep there now. We shouldn't disturb him. You're mine for the night"
j - "I don't think so. I miss my Zaaine and I'm going to pick him up from their room. You don't have to come if you don't want to" 😛
v - "You're a meanie"
j - "Likewise"
v - "Okay lets go"
j - "Let's" they said trying to get a taxi
v - "You stay here. I'll be right back"
j - "Okay"
Viren went out of sight for a few minutes and Jeevika waited for him. He came back and held her hand making her walk the other side.
j - "Where we going?"
v - "Just two minutes" he said smiling
To the side there was a beautiful carriage that evidently seemed to be waiting for Viren. The small door opened and Viren helped Jeevika get in first then went himself. The two of them said nothing to each other. Instead they held hands and hugged each other enjoying their carriage ride back to the hotel! The perfect night in New York City ❤️
