Folk music revs up star wedding

It was Goa all the way for the wedding celebrations of TV stars Ravee Gupta and Manoj Biddvai at the Beach Resort last Wednesday. The wedding was attended by many of their star friends. Among them were Divya Dutta, Vikas Bhalla, Neena Gupta, Arjun Punj and Gurdeep Kohli. Actor Raj Babbar was also present with his family. Divya Dutta and Neena Gupta wore interesting sequined gypsy skirts and embellished tops at the event. Ravee sparkled in an icy blue, fishtail dress and a diamond necklace at the cocktail party.

At the wedding, it was a pink and gold embellished lehenga-choli and antique jewellery for Ravee and Manoj wore a blue silk churidar-kurta. A brilliant firework display lit up the sky when the couple walked in at the reception. Ravee made a grand entry in a heavily sequined pink, orange and gold sari while Manoj looked dapper in a cream suit. After a sit-down dinner, the newlyweds mingled with the guests.

The music from Rajasthani deserts reverberated in the sands of Goan beaches as traditional folk musicians of Rajasthan, the Langa brothers were flown in from Jodhpur for the wedding.
