Episode 127

The episode starts off where it previously ended, with arnav telling his family that the engagement is tomorrow and that this decision is final. He walks out and see khushi and looks at her and looks at his family, I think he said you got my response now with his gorgeous eyes. La worries about ASR's anger and why he did this. She is also worrying how her parents, friends and cousins will come to engagement, all the women are upset and wondering how this will happen. Khushi listening to all this and she he goes to catch up with Arnav. Arnav is on his Bluetooth telling aman that there will be a meeting tomorrow. khushi finds arnav and calls out to him but he ignores her and walks off. Khushi goes to him again and asks why he is doing all this? Why are you in such a hurry?? ASR asks khushi whether his engagement is tomorrow, next week or next year, kyun farak padtha hai??? Khushi could not answer that. then she tells him with great difficulty that whether your engagement takes place, mujhe nahi farak padtha hai. Arnav seems upset with this answer and grabs her hands and takes her with him.

he expected she will say plz don't get engaged to La, it certainly makes difference to me, cause I love you.

La is on the phone with her parents trying to break the bad news to them but then Arnav goes to the living room. He is holding khushi's hand (but no one seemed to notice that). He let's go of her hand and goes to tell the whole family that his engagement will take place next week because khushi made him understand that all this cannot happen in a day, everyone is so relieve and khushi will make all the preparations because he has seen her work in the office and she is very hard working (oh he noticed that, I thought he was too busy trying to make her life hell, but how can you ignore the fact that she showed you). Arnav goes towards khushi and tells her that i hope tum pe koi farak nahi padtha, Khushi nods and La said why would she have a problem and she gives her fake smile with tear eyes. Everyone is too happy to notice but arnav does.

Arnav sure noticed how dedicate she was ! She endured all his acrimony and did her job efficiently. She gave up when her life was at stake in the guest house.

All make the list for the engagement. Akash said that he will do the invitation and anything else khushi tells him to do, mami is like smh at this boy, khushi was like the invitiation is the the most important. Akash was like I can come to your house to work on it if you need me too and anjlai was smiling and was like all the work will happen here just to give him a hard time (you would think since she was the first one to know that akash likes payal she wuld do a better job at convincing mami, or she is waiting for the comformation by payal).Anjali tells them that they will start the work from tomorrow because Anjali has to go on her date with her man. Khushi leaves from there. Anjali takes the measurement of Arnav. She tells arnav that they will get the ring first tomorrow and arnav was like I have a meeting. She is like khushi can do it and she discusses about arnav's engagement preparations with khushi through phone, He hears that the jeweler will come to the house tomorrow and Arnav recalls khushi's words (he will for sure find a way to stay home and torture khushi). shyam comes in and said that it looks like RS forgot about the date due to this good news and they discuss about the engagement and what should arnav wear. Arnav is like I will wear what I feel comfortable in and leave. Anjali said that she does not understand him anymore; he is mad easily and makes decision that is just odd. Shyam said that it is the pre wedding jitters, even I had it. Shyam said that he has to go and Anjali was like why? He said that my wife forgot about the date so I am going to find someone else to go with me (which is the truth) she gets upset but she thinks he is joking and shyam said that he has a case tomorrow and has to meet with the client. Mami ji comes to the study (looks nothing like a study but apparently it is)😆 and shows some girl's photos to Akash. Akash is maha annoyed. Anjali comes and is like more rishta photos and other stuff, found it boring.

Khushi is frying jalebies and talking to Anjali about engagement stuff (I swear they said work starts tomorrow, these people are just impatient). Shyam comes in and sees khushi making jalebies. Shyam said you must be tense because you are busy with ArLa's engagement which is coming up soon. Khushi is like hold up how do you know? I did not tell you. Shyam is like OH NO and turns around to formulate an excuse. He said that since you go there again, they will make you busy like always, and it is a shaadi ka mahal, khushi is like OH. He also said that rich people always make people do their work because they are lazy, khushi seems annoyed. Shyam leaves and while he is leaving khushi tells that she heard someone's voice while talking anjali's phone which is like his voice...He is like I was not on the phone because there was no network. Khushi was like I never said it was you, and he is not tense anymore. She said that she found it strange. He leaves but khushi looks thoughtful about it.

Akash tells anjali that he told his feelings to payal. Anji asks him what is her answer and he is looks out trying to figure out how to tell Anjali that payal said no.

Garima is talking about marriage to Khushi and payal saying that god choses the couple blah blah blah ( I sound like a skeptical but I am not, I am just annoyed with her). Garima is wondering if every decision is always the best one. they have too much questions and no answers right away, you get the answers after marriage. and explains to Khushi that it's the same for Khushi & shyam and she knows that after their marriage everything will be okay and will get a lot of love (she is right about that but with a different person).Payal listening to this and thinking about Akash.

You said it right, sometime people behave delirious in the heat of the moment. For that moment his intention was to antagonize Khushi or to win against her.He sometimes says the words what he doesn't mean. After getting back from the kidnappers he said some very harsh words to Khsuhi, cause Khushi came in front of his di.He later said he didn't mean those words and very sorry for that. And we somehow do it so many times. Payal's words just made him completely shut.But I appreciate Payal that she told this to ASR. He should know this long before that how much they had to suffer for him.

Episode 139!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pooja is going on and Khushi is still trying to see the face of Anjali's husband. She is super distracted so La has to nudge her to concentrate (that is a first, it should be khushi doing that, khushi did a great job training la). Shyam gets a call which he gets a little shocked seeing (who is it) and cuts it and continues with the pooja. His phone rings again so he goes to answer it, luckily for him everyone was so into the pooja to notice the phone ringing. Anjali notices Shyam missing, right after he left (how did she not hear the phone ring). She finds him on the phone and he signals to her that he will be right there and she doesn't look too happy, but gets back to the pooja nevertheless. Pandit ji says that the diya has oil and it will burn out quickly and they need ghee. She calls HP and nicely yells at him saying that I told you to put ghee, and the pooja cannot happen correctly, she is as it agitated because Shyam left the pooja midway. Khushi looks around for him. Everyone said it is okay and he will come back and la mentions that he will manofy you by calling you Rani Sahiba. Khushi remembers Shyam telling her that Rani Sahiba is his client. La goes to call Arnav and Khushi is left shocked/confused. Anjali starts to leave to call shyam, when Khushi tells her that she will call Shyam (good that will be her chance to see who her husband and is and clear her doubts). She tells Anjali to stay because something might be needed for the pooja.

Khushi is walking through the of RM remembering all the times Shyam had acted suspicious and the times she'd missed seeing Anjali's husband (I am doing the mental jig right now, I am so excited that she is putting two and two together). She also remembers Shyam's agitated attitude at her working in the RM and the fact that her fianc and Anjali's husband share the same name (someone's baati is going off). And of course, all the 'Rani Sahiba moments And she understands what Shashi must be trying to say all those times he got restless (BINGO).

Shyam is telling Kamla ji (the lady who he bribed to pretend to be RS when shashi was on his case and the lady that helped him get money from his atm) not play games with him and blackmailing him or else he will not do the pension case for free (when does he have time to work on her case he is too busy making a fool out of the raizadas and the guptas, and doing a case for free to everyone is counterproductive, no wonder he always needs to take money from his wife). Khushi hears this and her suspicions are deepens. She is approaching him and the flashbacks constantly playing on in her mind. But she feels she might be overthinking this because there might be other RS in the world (you are not overthinking at all, you are in the right track). He finishes his call and he turns around and he is shell-shocked. Khushi is just shocked from the fact that he is her fiance and he is doing all this with her, her family, and the raizadas. She recalls again how she was forced to get engaged to Shyam and correctly analyses Shashi's expressions this time (High Five). Shyam is just frozen in spot trying to come up with ways to save himself. Shyam is about to say something when Khushi gives him a slap!!!!!

(finally he got what he deserved, you go girl). Shyam winces he says he was about to tell her the truth (really now, you were never going to tell her you are saying that because you are caught red handed) but Khushi doesn't give him a chance to explain himself. She takes her engagement rings off (which took forever to come off, usually it falls off her hand but not this time, I guess it was because she was agitated that it took forever to come off, things are harded when you are agitated) and throws it at his face and looks at him with anger (some kali ma anger is showing, it is intense). She tells him how he betrayed them all, he disgusts her! She assured him that she's not someone who will keep quiet. He begs her to maintain silence because payal is getting married but she walks away( don't listen to him, do what you feel).Shyam is very upset and worried. He wonders how he'll get away this time (he is still trying to find ways to get out, how low).He picks up the engagement ring from the ground and looks at it.

Arnav tells La he doesn't want to come to the pooja. La tries convincing him and tells him everyone is waiting for him (such as nani, mama, mami, akash, di, jija ji, and khushi, he heard khushi and his head popped like really) but Arnav is adamant on not going. La gets a little upset and he notices it. He calmly explains to her that this is not her fault but he just doesn't feel up to it. La is pleasantly surprised and tells him he's never been this nice to her, arnav makes a face like how do I respond to that, so am I (how can she stay with a man that is not nice to her, but I guess he realized that he is good at heart and now she is not with him for money, she genuinely loves him and understands the anger is part of him). She adds that she understands and side hugs him (okay she is doing that too much now these days) and leaves from there.

Khushi is furiously walking down and thinking about PayAsh's relationship. And more flashbacks. She is worried about them(I bet she is thinking that keeping quiet is the best option to save her sister's marriage). She bumps into Arnav by the poolside and his cup breaks and he screams at her to watch out. But Khushi just silently bends to pick the pieces up. Arnav gets shocked at her silence. He bends down and sees her crying and asks her what is the matter. She still doesn't answer and he gets worried. He makes her get up and holds her shoulder gently. He asks her what she wants and if something is wrong at her home. But she still doesn't answer. Just as he gives up, she hugs his arm and starts crying badly. Arnav gets more worried and asks her again what happened to her. He tries consoling her but in vain, she does not answer. He asks her if there's a problem with her fianc (I love how he guess that, I guess he had this feeling that her fianc is not the right man for her and he is cheap like the bracelet he gave her). Khushi immediately lifts her head up to face him and he realizes he is right. He asks her what did he do, did he try to hurt her? (If khushi told him, he would have beaten him up; he seems super possessive of her right now). Khushi starts telling but stops in between having a flashback of arnav telling his di,Anjali, is his world. Arnav is still waiting for an answer. Will khushi be able to tell arnav that his jija ji was her fianc?

i agree with asr, this thing is a deal. love between two people. what is it, if not a deal that the heart makes with eyes closed and without heeding caution...? putting all its assets on the line, targeting unlimited, endless gains. if you crack this one right, makes this life... a life. not mere existence. so yes, asr, i understand absolutely what you mean when you say, i think this deal will be good. and much later when he calls her his life's biggest deal, i want to swoon at his tone of voice and the connotation. the ultimate deal maker thinks she is the one, the biggest hottest deal for him. me not complaining. You made a really do point, and she is the hottest deal for him

it was interesting to watch the two, asr and khushi, act protective toward their siblings, turning downright aggressive and obnoxious with each other. and of course, pushing payal and akash to one side, completely out of the date that poor akash had so desperately set up. It is always their family before themselves, they think they will be happy when their family is happy

he said he didn't want his bro to be halwai. she said, huh, not keeping my sister under the control of laad governor.

so he discovered she called him laad governor. I thought he know that but i guess he knew she calls him rakshaas, which she has not said for a while no...so he is less rakshaas like now a spectacular expression was bestowed upon this effrontery by one so irritating and halwai-ish. did he imply being a confectioner is a bad thing? oh, the class conscious raizada, maybe he's just mad at all halwais because he can't gobble sweets😆 he's just jealous that he can't have sweets and they can have it all time. okay, i will not be easy on him about this... he is ughly uppity and unnecessarily derogatory about someone's parent and people of a whole profession it's arnav he is allowed to be rude at time but those people laughing they had no right to listen to their conversation even though they were talking for everyone to hear.

and how rude was that, "tum dono behene din mein sapne dekhna band karo," stop having absurd dreams, you two sisters. really, brusque, nasty, arrogant... even your good looks right now are not cutting no ice, sir.

payal was fabulous... and gave akash a much needed reality check. yes, you are in love with me and imagine you can't live without me. but what do you know about me? do you know that my baraat went back and i was left at the mandap? I love payal, she is quiet at times but when she speaks she gives that person a piece of her mind

was it on purpose the writers made asr say such hateful things? so that when he realised the truth of the night in sheesh mahal, his reaction is even more of a contrast, making the viewer empathise more keenly? fact is, i know wonderful strong super exciting people who say terrible things at times. it hints at some not too nice notions in their heads, but more often it speaks of how rattled they are about something. and really, asr was completely taken aback to see his bro-like coz with payal... the sis of the girl he is struggling desperately not to let matter. he sort of lost it and his worst side came to the fore. Completely agree

khushi was no less aggressive and rude. again, because her sis being in a relationship with anyone related to this man, the man she can't hate however mean he may be, bothered her no end.

"aap nahin jaante... lekin yeh... yeh toh sab jaante hain na..." payal was distraught, the pressure of wanting someone but knowing it can't be. she tells him, you didn't know about that night, but he... he knows everything, meaning asr, of course. i am talking about that day when you...

"jiji!" with one quiet but insistent call, khushi stopped her sister from going there. too painful.. for everyone. a beautifully intense and timeless moment set in a scene marked by lightness, youth, the here and now.

as the girls leave, she turns back for an instant, he looks at her... just a little contact where a whole memory sits, pearls scattering. he looks nonplussed, so unlike him. a minute ago he was yelling and calling her names. ah, so human, these two.

then in a drenched voice, "chalo, jiji..." and the girls leave.

it isn't easy being a girl in this world. the thought came over me as i watched the two young women. when you are naturally the second gender, the one at the receiving end, whose aims, ambitions all become secondary to the men in your lives, it's a tough world. a man can walk out on a woman at the mandap, that too for dowry... it doesn't taint him, it taints her. where's the justice in this. yet that is what happens. 👏 well said

he offers to manage the meeting... a feeling for his brother. sweet.

and as he gets out of the car, a look on his face heralding a difficult memory (the look is so perfect, i didn't edit it, just let the cap be). she's falling, running, "please hume ghar jaane dijiye..." i need to go home, otherwise my sister's marriage will break. "toh toot jane do shadi..." then let it break, his cruel answer, not believing a word she said. suspicious of her, certain she'd come there with an ulterior motive. his long held wariness about women surfacing in the worst possible way.. what a night. and what he did to a girl, her family... i honestly think this is the first time arnav and akash interacted other than work, i never heard them talking about anything else besides files and office and meeting, i hope this brings them closer together

"maine usski baat kyun nahin suni, woh sach kah rahi thi, meri wajah se unki behen ki shadi..." why didn't i listen to her, she was speaking the truth, because of me her sister's wedding... he slams the car.

a beautifully frenetic payal.. we're not talking about what happened... leave me alone for a while. khushi is perplexed. even talking to dm isn't helping. then the dupatta takes over. akash's gift falls on jiji, and she can't help but hold it and weep, speaking of her helplessness... "humare haan kahne se kya hoga akashji humae naseeb mein aapka pyaar nahin... hume maaf kijiye... hum baar baar aapka dil todne ke liye majboor hain,"

what's the good of my saying, yes. your love is not in my fate... forgive me... i have to deny you time and time again.

khushi watches this whole thing and at last she understands. i guess when she first saw payal and akash, the zing of laad governor was on her, and she didn't make the obvious connection. but now she knows she has to set things right... and the way to do it is to talk to that arrogant... i was in tears for payal, mami's words gotten into her head and now she things they are not meant to be due to class, i think she thought like that before but mami's words were harsh and stopped her from getting close to akash

in a touching scene, asr realises how smitten his coz is. he doesn't like to watch his family suffer... bit of a don, our asr... he must solve the problems his fam faces. and don't mess with his family, if you know what's good for you.. for him it is family and business above all mostly family

"akash?" just one word... a world of love and concern, the slightest grain and hoarseness in the voice.

"payal ji ne dobara mana kar diya..." payal ji said "no" again, akash is sad, forlorn, lifeless. he says a key thing about love... there is no "wajah" no reason for loving... you just love.

then a difficult question, "jiss din usski shadi tooti... kya hua tha uss din..." the day her marriage broke, what happened. asr won't answe that question but he did ask...

"i'll ask you just once... are you sure of your feelings... dekho yeh pyaar wyaar mujhe samajh nahi ata.." see all this love and things, i don't understand. no he doesn't, because he has decided there's no place for it in his life. if anything, it's an impediment... a thing that leads to terrible things. but again, in his typical liberal way, he's not stopping anyone else from feeling it or wanting it.

in fact, once he's convinced that it is what akash is very sure of and after marrying payal will not regret it, he says with alacrity, "ok then it's done, agar yeh tumhare liye itna important hai... toh main yeh deal final karwake rahoonga," if this is so important to you then i'll make sure the deal is closed.

"lekin, bhai... wo..." but, bhai... akash is floundering. really, akash, there's a limit to being clueless i feel like yelling.

"bas, bol diya na!" now i've said it, that's it.

"bol toh diya lekin... kaunsi deal?" you said it, but what deal, wonders the lost lover.

chalo bhai ke bhavan bhavan bhavan...

i need to give an award to the creative who chose khushi's ring tone. it is maddening, irritating, dancey, feels gota covered, unforgettable. what a perfect answer to the brief the director must have given. I am happy that she got it back, i guess she downloaded it to her dad's cellphone

his call to her leads nowhere, as she is still unaware of jiji's true feelings. but then they both try to call each other at the same time.

he's completely frazzled at not getting through...

"zaroor apne fiance se baat kari hogi," she must be talking to her fiance, he sounds practically jealous. and so what if she is, mister.

"kisse baat kar rahi thi tum..." who were you talking to... the moment she picks up the phone. so cute.

these interactions, the irritated, aware of each other repartee and conversations and fights between the two, these are classic ipk. and their unwittingly overstepping boundaries, always a little further in than their relationship allows them to be, such a fantastic way to portray attraction... a powerful attraction really that doesn't allow you to remain cool in the other's presence... you are always slightly aflame when the other one is there. and you say things you wouldn't to others.

and so it is that they go out on their first hot date. they must meet to bring their siblings together. and for the sake of that love, their own private nafrat must be suspended for a while. whatever the excuse, asr and khsuhi are in a restaurant, just the two of them together.

and in all the fun and games that followed again i saw asr fall madly for khushi kumari gupta one more time. bitten badly by the love bug.

of course, the cue to craziness came from the chair chase... "aree hum yahan baithne wale hain..." arre, i am about to sit here, yelled she when he again pulled out the chair she went to. "i know tabhi chair pull kar raha hoon..." i know, that's why i am pulling the chair out, replied the suave one as small town girl showed her ignorance, but ever so cutely.

when she said, don't put sugar!, in his coffee, she was told that it woukd be served separate... but he couldn't stop himself from being touched by her concern, nor she hide her awkwardness at blurting it out... always an overstepping of boundaries... that attraction. such tenderness in these moments.

and when she sort of admitted, "aap sahi the..." you were right.


he couldn't let the moment pass. all of asr in his self satisfied know all air, "main kabhi galat nahi hota..." how can a man look so smug and so hot at once. brilliant acting... just plain brilliant. so many ways to deliver that line... how did he choose the right one and the perfect expression to match. urbane, polished, intelligent, just the right amount of arrogance, and a bit of humour... a little bit of a flirt there? just a wee bit, maybe?

"chalo kum se kum ek biskut phree toh mil gaya." oh good, at least got a free biscuit, she said, after fretting over having to fix one's own tea and paying so much.

and somewhere between her biting the pack to tear it open and his eyes moving, his lips turning up at this jhalliness, i believe he fell again in love with her... these were the things that made keema of all his koshish. no amount of trying to get over such a girl was gonna work.

i had felt his heart go thud when he found her in his wardrobe, one eye shut, then when she admitted she couldn't find orange juice and so poured mango juice into his shoe, at odd bizarre utterly and only khushi sanka moments i think he really fell in love. of course, her kindness, her innocence, her love of fam, her courage, her beauty, all of what was khushi he loved, but it was at these moments that i think his heart did crazy things.

when asr really met khushi. no baggage, no misconceptions, no barriers. just him and her. two people... meant to meet. a man and a woman. a boy and a girl...

perhaps he felt his heart flip, and wanted to move away quickly, so with an amused, adult air, taking back control, he said, "khushi, agar tumhari chai aur biskutt ki important conversation khatam ho gayi ho toh akash aur payal ke baare mein baat kar sakte hain?"

khushi, if your important conversation about tea and biscuit is over shall we talk of akash and payal? i loved your description of the date and how you brought up past moments and connected them

and they spoke of the deal they would help clinch... while the biggest deal of his life got going.

Khushi gets another proof. This time it's about Rani Saheba .La tells Khushi that jijai calls Anjali rani saheba. Khushi convulses to hear the name rani saheba. During the pooja Shyam got a phone call. So he moves aside to answer it. Anjali gets upset a bit.When the pooja is finally over pandit tells Anjali to put ghee in the diya, as it has to burn throughout the whole day. Anjali calls HP and she releases her anger on him to put the oil instead of ghee. Where she actually is upset with Shyam to leave the pooja in between she is mad that he does spend time with her and when she asks him to come, he is instead busy with "work". To see her anger, La says that it won't be a problem for jijaji. Cause he will coax her by calling her rani Saheba. Khushi embroils to hear this i am so glad the light when off in her brain. During the pooja Khushi tried to take a look at Anjali's husband. But she couldn't and before the pooja finished Shyam is already gone. Khushi recollects what shyam said about his rani Saheba. he told her that she is some queen of raj ghar. Khushi's incredulity increases more.

Lavanya goes to call Arnav and Akash wants to go to call Shyam. But Anjali wants to go instead. Khushi thinks it's a good opportunity to see Anjali's Shyam i was literally cheering her on. when she wished to go including Anjali, the rest of the family get surprised a bit. To clear their suspicion Khushi says that Anjali should be here, if anything is needed.

Khushi saunters slowly, ebbing in thought of all the coincidence that happened. All the events come in her mind one after another the whole episode was a flashback because, i guess it is showing us that khushi is thinking adn realizing shyam's true color.

Once she saw him in front of the RM. Though he escaped by saying that he came to search for her.

Then she remembers that she couldn't see his face in Anjali and Shyam's anniversary.

Next comes the diwali day. Again she couldn't see his face.

She remembered how he screamed at her for going there in RM. She must be thinking why he was upset of working Khushi for Raizada.

then his dialogue about the herbal balm what he said to buaji and same thing what Akashs told them that it is his jijaji's words.

When Anjali came to know that Khushi's fiance's name is also Shyam, how she reacted that her husband's name is Shyam too. When the rest of the people got suspicious, she averted their thought by saying, there is more than one Shyam in this world.

Rani saheba's call in his phone and his addressing the caller by that name loved how you mentioned each flashback, i forgot most of them.

So many reprimands are coming one after another in her mind.Then she thinks of her babuji, how he reacted to see Shyam and later took off the ring and threw it. it means, She suspected that her dad also knew about shyam. Then why she didn't dig the matter? Khushi is smart. If she wanted she also could find the reason of her dad's heart attack.

In the terrace Shyam is threatening the lady (Kamla) who was helping him in his crime. Khushi reaches the terrace in despondent state of mind. She again sinks in vortex of ambiguity She finally saw shyam's true colors now, and now his behavior is now making sense to her, all the time he was nervous and made up a lie that would contradict itself moments later, i wonder if she heard him.

She couldn't find him in the room when the Raizadas wanted to meet her fiance.

She remembered how he lied that Bua told him about Payal and Akash's rishta, where bua was quite unaware of it.

Her tremulous steps are covering the distance between the man who was talking on the phone showing his back. She remembers the voice calling Anjali Rani saheba on the phone. Khushi is whirling in melange of thoughts, suspicion. She moves close to him in consternation. She also wants to brush off her thought, "may be it's just a coincidence. may be I'm thinking too much.there can be more than one people named rani Saheba in this world"

Is it possible, that much of coincidence can happen? so many questions muddle her thought that is too must of a coincidence that she should not ignore.

Shyam finishes his phone convo. He senses somebody is behind him. He thinks who can it be rather than rani saheba. He turns and bamm!

The moment, the face off, finally! After playing a calculative, manipulative,wicked, slouchy, filthy game, the truth of Shyam reveals to Khushi. The repercussion takes to the engagement with him. Her rancor seeps through her vein, makes her outraged to the extreme. Shyam quivers in abhorrence. "Khushiji aap." .She can't bear this atrocious man any more. And the most awaited slap happened.The air gets rife with the crescendo of the slap. "Khushiji I was about to tell you."

"enough, Anjali is my client.where she is your wife. how much lie you will say?"

She retaliates him with complete volition.

She can't wear that filthy ring in her finger anymore. She pulls it out and throws it on the ground. He tries to stop her, "Khushiji plz?" After the sacrilege of her credence ,how dare he expect she still will wear his ring.👏 loved how you described this

"bas, being a married person, you wanted to. you didn't only deceived me, but cheated my whole family. you don't deserve the love what my family gave to you. and your wife Anjali, you also deceived her ? I feel so disgusted to think about your intention."
He tries to come close to her, to pacify her. But Khushi just warns him not to come near her.

"what do you think, I'll still trust you? after knowing all I'll keep quite?"

She can't stand this nefarious man after the mayhem he has done not only with Khushi but with the whole Gupta and Raizada family.

she huddles fast from there.

Shyam is following her, requesting her not to say anything to anybody in this situation. He reminds her of Payal and Akash's newly fixed marriage proposal. But Khushi is obdurate. she is not ready to listen to this swindler any more.

Shyam is frustrated, he can't find the way what to do. what bothers me is that he still is coming up with ways to save himself, i am scared of his next moves

In Arnav's room, La is trying to call him downstairs. But Arnav is really not interested to go.La beseeches him to go downstairs and take the blessing of all. "All are waiting for you" She mentions all of their name and pauses at Khushi. She tries to see his reaction. But Aranv is still reluctant. When he sees La got upset, he tries to make her understand nicely. "mera maan nahi hai.I don't feel to go. plz try to understand. it's not your fault. I know you are disappointed." La looks a little flummoxed as he is talking meekly. Arnav asks her, what. She actually gets surprised at his nicety. "ASR you are being nice to me. You never behaved so nice with me." When she sees Arnav is looking confused, she says it's OK.I understand." She leans down her head on his shoulder. But leaves in embroilment.

pause: I'm a bit confused. Is it Sana who couldn't convey the real emotions or is it La who was actually very ambiguous of Arnav's behavior.She looked happy to see Arnav's nicety, but looked upset at the same time when she was leaving. Or moreover she left in haste. I am glad i am not the only one who thinks this...what confuses me about la is how can she stay with a man who is never nice to her in the first place, alteast i know he is not with him for his money anymore

Khushi is shambling towards the hallway, thinking about Payal. Everybody was so worried with her wedding and finally when her marriage is fixed with Akash, by telling the raizadas about shyam, how can she puts the marriage in jeopardy? she strides fast immersed in thought and bumps with Arnav. the tea cup what was in his hand fells down and breaks.

"don't you see while walking?' He yells her.

Khushi sits down and starts to pick up the broken pieces in abhorrence

"Khushi I'm asking you something." Arnav asks

Arnav feels the anguish , he calls her gently, "Khushi"

He also kneels down, asks her tenderly, "Khushi what happened to you?'

he holds both of her upper arms and helps her to stand up."is there any problem going on in your house? Do you need anything?"

A sheer concern is evident in his voice. He tries to figure out what's wrong. He lets go her hand. He stares at her teary eyes and finds the answer.

Khushi can't control herself any more. She leans her head on his shoulder clutching his arm, starts to cry.

"Khushi what happened. it's OK."

He lifts his hand to pacify her, but can't but tries to say some comforting words.

"did your fiance do something with you?"

Khushi lifts her head when he hits the nail.

He understands the fact. It must be about her fiance.

'what did he do to you? Did he try to hurt you? Tell me." His anger pulsates. he grits his teeth, as if he will smash his face right now.

Khushi gazes up at him with her insides melting at his words and a melange of confused, chaotic thoughts runs through her mind.

"unhone humare sath. he did with me" she quivers.

she remembers Arnav's words to Anjali. "mere iss duniya se koi matlab nahi. mere asli duniya to aap ho. This world doesn't matter to me. My real world is you)"

Khushi embroils in premonition to reveal the truth. I loved this scene, no words can describe it. ArShi are each other's solace, they can understand each other pains without saying a word with each other

Again Khushi tried to find solace in Arnav. Khushi needed his shoulder again to cry on.In spite of so much differences, acrimony between them Arnav convulsed terribly when he thought any body can harm Khushi. He tried to pacify her, gave her comfort when he saw distress in her countenance. Isn't it love or what!

Episode 134

Akash Has Left the Building

So Akash is taking care of Payal's wound and the siblings are looking on. Akash asks Arnav for the special balm and he tells Payal that his brother in law says it heals all wounds. i guess they are trying to show how the raizada bros look up to their jiju, since you never see them interact at all

Akash and Arnav enter the RH. Akash thanks him and says he is happy Arnav agreed to Kushi's crazy and dramatic plan. He said he didn't agree but that doesn't matter. Akash says Kushi is a little crazy and different and Arnav gives a little smile. Akash thanks him again and they hug each other. Akash thanks him again and leaves. i hope they get close after this and not only talk about business

Arnav says to himself yes, she is crazy with this silly smile on his face. Awww. that was super cute, he is amused by her and can't deny that she is a show piece

Payal is looking at her bandage and smiling from ear to ear. She gently touches it as if she can still feel Akash's hand still there placing the bandage on her. Kushi is so silly she has placed glasses on and is imitating Akash. Kushi says and then he placed brother in aws special balm. The balm's aroma not only reached her hand but her heart! They hug. Kushi is very happy for Payal. Payal is worried, what if his family doesn't like her or accept her. Kushi tells her not to worry because Arnav will handle it. I love how she trusts him completely to take care of everything. Payal says Arnav is nothing like they thought. This takes Kushi to another place in her heart and mind. i found this scene super cute, payal is lost in the thought of akash, and finally something in her life is going right. Payal now respect arnav because he has a huge hand in this, and khushi can't deny that he is sure something different.

Akash walks in to his mother playing matchmaker, she has Miss Indi and her parents in the living room. Akash says what is she doing? She says this is his future wife and in laws. He is very upset. Arnav has come. Mami says he is quite shy and always listens to what she says. He interrupts her, "Ma, I won't marry her." Manorama's face drops. "What are you saying?" she asks. He starts, has she ever asked him what he wants? He tells her he has selected a girl for himself. "What?" The "Ms. India family" are confused. Her name is Payal. " HHBB' she answers. Mami just wants a rich family so they can give her more gold and stuff.

Buaji is looking for her glasses. She gets them from trouble maker Kushi and sits besides her. kushi asks if she has applied balm. Yes she has and Shyam gave it to her saying it heals everything. Aha! Kushi realizes someone else said that too! Hmmm. khushi brain is working but i think she is thinks it is a coincidence, and plus she cannot remember where she heard it

Akash says he will marry Payal only and that is final. His mother is besides herself. Everyne has joinde them. Akash says he will only marry Payal and Mami wants to know whether he was bitten by a mad dog? Payal, Kushi's sister she asks? Everyone is happy to see and hear Akash is in love. He will only marry Payal. The Ms. India family said she should have asked her son once. Mami wants to know why her husband is silent. She had told the family that Akash is a jokester. He walks over to Akash, everyone has a worried look, while Mami has one of satisfaction he will show Akash, and he says to Akash he is with him in this matter. Mami says it is a revolt a rebellion she will never let this happen! Nani intervenes asking her how could she ever think that Akash would be happy with a girl like Ms. India? Doesn't she know what Akash likes? Mami says she does. He is simple but he has chosen someone too simple. She talks about status and says she will not let this happen. She fumes away. Everyone is so happy congratulating him! Arnav hugs him again. i am glad everyone one accepted payal, but mami is a hard nut to crack. i don't know why people there just let's her talk even though she is hurtful...i guess they know she is all talk

There is a look in Arnav's eye, something different, it seems as though a weight has been lifted. Akash has lead the way to the Gupta girls hearts. I feel like he sees this too. arnav is relieved that payal is getting married and that her life is on the right track now since he ruined her...and in india if the marriage breaks it is mostly the girl's fault

Mami has called Payal and is behaving very poorly. Poor Payalji. She says first Kushi surveyed the place and now she is trying to enter. Uggghhh!!! She says she will never let her dream of marrying Akash happen. Nasty, nasty woman. Did she forget where she came from or is it that since she came from nothing she was excited for the prospect of marrying him off to a rich family which brings her higher status? She won't let Payal even speak. Buaji is looking on in the background. No marriage she says and hangs up. Payal hangs up and runs to her room and Buaji doesn't have a chance to find out what happened. mami is saying all this because her ego is hurt and people in the rm let her do whatever because is shuts her up, figuratively of course.

Payal is on the phone with Akash telling him what happened. His mother thinks she has trapped him for wealth. Kushi hears this. She tells Akash it is better if we forget this. She is crying. i am glad she told arnav

Arnav Singh Raizada! Kushi says as she is ringing her towel. He said he would take car of this matter. She throws the towel, she knows what she must do. She calls ASR. She is rambling a mile a minute, I hardly got the words she said to him, he answers what the and hangs up on her. (She yelled at him about what happened.) poor arnav has no idea what is going on, he is in his own world working on his business

She is going to see him face to face!

She tells Buaji she is leaving. Buaji says one niece is crying hysterically and the other is angered and enraged. her dialouge cracked me up

Everyone is in Mami's room and she tells them she called Payal. La says it is not fair. Mami said she played not fair. Akash is sticking up for Payal. i hope akash remains likes this.

Kushi enters the RH like a bull. He is at poolside she goes there and stands in front of him. He looks up surprised to see her. So is this how you are handling the situation? Mami called up Payal and scolded her. Her sister can't stop crying. She shouldn't have trusted him to handle the situation. During this entire tirade his mouth is hanging open. I love this, he gets up and he says to her ,"Relax, calm down. Take a deep breath." Sighhh. She says breathe, how can she breathe? When it is a matter of her sister's life. "Shhh, didn't I say I would take care of it?" What will he say. He will say something, aunt will say something and then you will get furious. She says she knows his fury well and just like that you can see his upper lip and mouth tense, she knows him so well. See, she says you are angry again. It looks like he almost wants to laugh because she does know him so well'so he swallows his anger, calms himself down and says he will do it. She says it going to be a mess, let's practice. WHAT? She says she will be Mami and he can practice. my favorite scene of the episode

Meanwhile Akash is leaving because his mother won't give in. Everyone is in a panic following after him. i don't blame him since his mom is not listening to him, i bet it is frustrating, he needs to cool off his mind

Kushi plays Mami and is tapping him on the shoulder acting like Mami he turns angered and then calms down. He tries to start and winds up spouting about surveys and life choices and sounds like a boring news program. She says are you going to speak like this? Survey, percent? Can you show some emotion? He says he is doing it his way. Use your feelings, Arnavji. Feelings? What are those? LOL. No problem she will show him how. That is right Kushi you have shown him how to feel, to open his heart! Keep it up, you will get through someday.

"Aunt we don't make pairs they are made in heaven. Someone, somewhere is made for us Like Payal is made for Akash."

He says he will say this to aunt? She answers, absolutely. And if she doesn't agree after this melodramatic lecture, he asks. She answers turn and say, some things happen you won't understand."

"WHAT CRAP!" she is so filmy, i love it

She says he never wants to accept her ideas. Her ideas are better than his.

"AKASH'''listen to me'..AKASH!!!"

They hear this from inside.

Episode 130: Koshish & Truce

"yeh Kya hai Lavany? Yeh kya pehna hai tumne!!"

his loud yell echoes throughout the whole RM, mounting tension on a room full of women. Lavanya had gone to open the door for ASR in a dress similar to Khushi. He was furious, he had just promised himself "ab aisa nahin hoga" determined not to let Khushi give him any more "taqleef"...another words cause him farq only to come home and find La, the girl that never makes a difference dressed like the one that only makes a difference

"ek to mein pehle koshish kar raha hoon ki.." (I've been trying to -) oh the tireless effort of "koshish," poor guy almost gave himself away, that he has been working hard to forget her, words that echo into the future "Itni koshish ki maine..."

how would this "koshish" ever see success when everything/everyone around him won't let him...even her trademark "gotas" at some point have started to make a difference! he is mad that he is getting affected by khushi and everytime he tries to forget her something reminds him of her...and to him there is only one khushi

" aur yeh, ye cheez" grabing the tacky things hanging off the sides of her dress, grinding his teeth profusely showing just how much he really hates this what she does to him "isse laga kar tum itni stupid lag rahi ho, bilkul uss- " (you look so stupid wearing this just like that-)

a brief pause when he sees Khushi coming, but he remembers his determined promise to himself. He takes his gussa on a notch up when La tries to explain that he liked the dress

"mujhe pasand nahi ayaa, mujhe aisi cheezien pasand hai jin mein koi class na ho, jo itni cheap ho ki" "idon't lilke it, i dont' like it, i don['t like things that have no class, that are so cheap that-" indirectly he sends more message of naftrat and insults and the quiet girl listens quite aware.

La interrupts, " all i did was wear clothes like Khushi, why are you getting so angry,why are you like this? "I am what i am" he tells her and orders her to change

The man who always told La to be herself, stuck up for her rights in front of nani when she moved in, is ordering her out of these clothes like some control freak. La knows anything-Khushi related gets to him immensely, later she says she kept lying to herself, but i wonder if she grasped just how much he feels for her...She is in her dream world right now, i don't blame her arnav did the impossible by agreeing to this marriage, so right now she does not notice his odd behavior around khushi or rather change of behavior

For the first time La refused something he was asking, but he remained adamant "you'll do as i say, you'll change this dress right now" and he storms off. i am glad la stood up to herself...moments ago she was admiring khushi for her courage against arnav.

Khushi couldn't bear to see her friend crying especially when she knows La is unfairly getting the burnt only meant for her. She decides to go talk to him. In his room he paced back and forth, forth and back, uneasy and frustrated failing miserably from dealing with all the farq.

Interestingly she arrives from the poolside, sliding the door open to his room, to him...and before she could even begin he fumed "Get out"

Never afraid to speak her mind to him she wasted no time "Nahi, I want to talk to you"

"Toh karti raho, mujhe nahi sun ni (then keep talking, i don't want to listen)" and he slides the door shut, only for her to slide open again right away. So this sliding door becomes a prop for the CVs to make their point today. Symbolic really, it becomes the great wall of ASR. She opens the door, he closes it, she opens and makes him listen.

" it important i talk to you" she quickly finishes before he can cut in "to remove your misunderstanding...La bought the dress because i told her to, so take you anger out on me, not on her"

"you needn't tell me how to behave with Lavanya. thats non of your business" He never did like when she ever talked of La and him in the same sentence.

"aap ke aas paas ke log aapse kitna pyaar karty hai, aapko bilkul bhi andaaza nahi hai na? aap jaante bhi hai ki aapke iss kadve bol se unke dil par kya beet ti hai?"

Translation: "you have no idea how much people around you love you do you? Do you even know how much your bitter words hurt their heart?"

What was it about this sentence that melted him? was he just touched to hear about how much people around him love him? or did he just know that she was including herself in that group of "aas paas log"...letting him know just how much his bitter words hurt her as well?

"hum jaante hai ki aap hum par gussa hai" "I know you're mad at me" khush always knows how to make arnav calm down and change his behavior and realizing that he is wrong and his actions hurt others even though he does not mean it

Her short sentence spoke volumes, but it was the words that weren't uttered by her that may have been even louder to him...words about the reason for his gussa. She knew the reason and he knew she knew and in no time he is over the edge. Anger in full swing, index finger pointing down, ready to make his point

"Tum samajh ti kya ho apne aap ko?" his yell gets louder "mein jo karta hoon tumhari waje se karta hoon? agar tumhe yeh lagta hai ki mujhe tumhare hone ya na hone se koi farq padta hai then FORGET IT!!" he startles her "meri life mein tumhari itni importance nahi ha ki mein tumhara waje se gussa hot jaaoo aur woh gussaa kisi aur par nikaaloon!" " you don't even exist for me, do you understand?" He continues his non-stop kadve bol "bitter words '"Tum ho ya na ho, kuchh karo yah na karo , much uss koi faraq nahim padta SAMJHI TUM?!

Translation: "who do you think you are? whatever i do is because of you, if you think that whether it makes any difference to me if you're here or not here then FORGET IT! You're importance in my life is not so that i take out my anger for you and someone else! you don't even exist for me do you understand? Where you're here or not, you do anything or not, it doesn't make a difference to me UNDERSTAND!! 👏

Everything about his body language said "attack" but everything in his eyes said something totally different. Every word that came out of his mouth was the exact opposite of what she meant to him...i felt him breakdown in this gussa of his. In awe of Sobti here, total perfection, his body language (for some reason i feel the ASR behavior of pointing his index finger down is something Barun came up with, don't know why), his line delivery, and especially the eyes that screamed louder than his voice which he spoke here...if it wasn't on tv, i wouldn't know he was acting. amazing depth. agreed

By the time he finished talking, those darn tears had already started to emerge forcing him to turn around, it was the second time today and it was getting impossible for him to bare the pain they returned. Unfortunately for him turning his back didn't help, he could feel her shedding him.

He closes his eyes in her agony for a second time eventually having to turn to her. Her tears had only gotten worse, once again she was told by the man she can't help but love regardless of her koshish, that she doesn't mean a thing "koi ahemiyat nahi"... he fuming anger had disappeared to some place and total remorse set in while quietly enduring the chots the tear causes. she was the last to speak i loved it when he turns around, he knows that he hurt her but he can't face her tears because it will affect him, so he has to be in the right mindset before talking to her

"hum jaante hai hamaare hone ya na hone se aapko koi faraq nahi padta' IT hurts him coming from her. "par hum yeh bhool gaye the ki aap Arnav Sing Raizada ha, aur kisi ka dil dukhane ke baad, aap kabhi maafi nahi maangte...hamaari ghalati hai ki ham aapse baat karn aaye the,"

Translation: I know that my being or not being makes no difference to you, but i forgot that you're ASR,and after hurting someone you don't apologize to anyone., it was my mistake that i came here to talk to you.

and this time she closes that door herself while looking directly in his eyes, his eyes that almost begged her to read them and open that door back up...wanting badly to keep that great wall down for her, wanting to make it all ok and show her just how much faraq her being or not being there makes. arnav is hurt, he wants her to admit that she has feeling for him, i wish he would just say it...he hurts her again and again because of his behavior but he does not know how to fix it

"Kya kar diya tumne Khushi mere saath? Itni koshish ki maine, itni zyaada koshish ki mein tumse nafrat kar sakoon par tumse nafrat karhi nahi paaya"

"what have you done to me Khushi? I tried, i tried so hard so i could hate you, but i never could hate you"

What a perfect example of this "koshish" in this episode. Well he tried and he failed, perhaps he know it was time to call truce to this war for faraq that he declared on her. He goes to La's room where Khushi and Anjali are consoling her. He hand her the dress with the gota and told her to wear it and apologizes for the way he reacted, elated La hugs him "ASR, I love you." With La still in his arms, he looked to Khushi witht he most honest eyes

"I'm sorry" he softly says to her...the words hit her hard. This look in his eyes, his apologizing like this ...how could she hold anything against him? they're both in a pickle aren't they? Anjali's phone rings conveniently for her exit. La couldn't help give him a peck on the cheeck for his sweetness while his eyes, mind, heart all with Khushi's face. He finally catches that faraq he was looking for all day on her face, thanks to La's peck, in his reaction, there was no arrogance of "winning," he just looked at her allowed himself to feel, maybe embraced her feelings for him. He just seemed so much at peace after giving up (for now).

She starts to walk out, but not without the palat, he knew it was coming, so he looked away not letting her know that he was indeed watching her. A rabba ve as helples as these two enters...iss pyaar ko kya naam doon? i love how he kept look at her for approval making sure he did the right thing...and when la hugged him and said i love you, he kept looking at khushi to see what her reaction was to see if fadak padtha to her (that just sounded retarded but sounded really good in my head, but i will keep it)
