Brief Synopsis:
Manasa - the protogonist is a girl, in her twenties brought up by her mother. Her father is no more. She works in a garment company owned by Mahendran, who is a well-wisher of Manasa. She is in love with Soorya, her colleague and Soorya is the only breadwinner of a lower middle class family with three siblings and his mother.

Manasa gets pregnant because of Soorya and when they reveal this to their respective families there is chaos and confusion. Soorya's mother wants him to get married to his uncle's daughter in Australia, as it would elevate their family's position too. They threaten Manasa by attempting suicide and finally Manasa agrees to leave Soorya and refuses to marry him, giving no reason.

Meanwhile, Mahendran's wife Lalitha is childless and this is their only lack in life. Now, due to Mahendran's continuous compulsion for a child, Manasa decides to put an end to their plight.

It is decided that Manasa will give birth to the child without the knowledge of anyone and it will grow up as Mahendran's child. And so Lalitha and Manasa leave to Ooty. There, Soorya and his newly wed wife are there for their honeymoon. Soorya's wife and Manasa face lots of clashes, as Soorya's wife smells some old relation between her husband and Manasa.

But finally, Soorya leaves to Australia with his wife. Manasa gives birth to her child and hands it to Lalitha. Meanwhile, Vijay a big businessman gets to meet Manasa and they slowly get to like each other. But Vijay's younger brother's wife, Renu, is disturbed by her as all the wealth will reach Manasa if she marries Vijay and not to Renu. So she is waiting to get rid of her leading to a tug of war between Manasa and Renu.

SuryaVamsam: January 2007 First Week

Kiran will arrange a press meet. The day before Mahindra comes to know this and it was about Manasa. He Urges Kiran to stop doing it but he will not listen. Kiran calls Vijay to come to the press meet and asks him to talk about what Manasa has done to her. Like planning to kill him and acquire all his property etc.
Surya Tells Manasa about the pressmeet but not sure about the subject in the meet. They suspect that it might be something bad to Manasa. Manasa agrees to not to stop and thinks she did not do any bad in her life and there is no reason for her to be scared.
Surya's mother meets Manasa and tells her that more bad is going to happen to her tomorrow and she is waiting for that from long time.Manasa replies back that always good will happen to good people.
Mahindra meets Manasa and informs her that Kiran is going to do more bad to her tomorrow. He tells that he feels bad for that and this is the right time to tell him truth that he is son of Manasa. Manasa urges not to tell him as he hates her a lot and suddenly if he knows that she is his mother, he might not handle it well.

In the press meet Kiran tells that this is about Manasa's personal life and this is important because she is the president of chamber and everybody should know what she has done in the past Since she has done more bad. Kiran tells that Manasas husband was Vijay whom she tried to kill and acquire all his property. He tells that in another 5 minutes Vijay will come and will explain it so please wait until he comes. Meanwhile one of the reporter calls Manasa and tells her what happened. Manasa was surprised to hear that her husband Vijay is alive and she said she is going to come to the meet. Vijay comes and tell that Manasa is a very kind and good person and he missed her a lot. Now kiran is surprised.

Both Manasa and Vijay go to their home. Surya, Sruthi and kishore welcome them. Viji is very upset, angry and did not accept Vijay as his father. Vijay tries to explain due to some circumstances he was apart from his family, he asks to accept him as his father and Kishore as his brother and be like Akka and Thamudu. This is very hard for Viji to accept.

Mahindra is happy to hear that his friend Vijay is back and Manasa and Vijay are happy together. Kiran feels bad.

Ranjit asks his girl friend to get another signature from kiran. He says this should be the last one and after this they are leaving the town and going to a new place and starting a new life with all the money they have. She refuses to ask the signature. Ranjit pleads her.

He dresses like Rajesh and they both go to restaurant to meet Kiran. Kiran is surprised to see them. He asks them to sit down and asks Rajesh what he wants. Rajesh replies he needs his signature again and this is the last one. Kiran signs the papers.

Jan 2007 Second Week Updates:

01/08/07

Revathy attempts suicide. Kishore asks nurse to take care of her. Revathy asks Kisore that he wants to see and talk to Vijay. She pleads to bring him once.
Ranjit meets the drug dealer and asks to deliver drugs to Kiran's house address. He calls Surya and tell him that a truck with drugs is on so and so road. He disconnects the phone and removes the Sim card and hides it in the dirt and says that "He is going to ruin Kiran life.". Surya informs police and goes to that address and stops the truck.

Jan 09 2007 (Tuesday):

Surya stops the van and asks his men to search it. All the people in the van ran. Surya found Drugs in the van. Meanwhile Police stop and start searching and they found Kiran's address on the box. Surya was shocked to see Kiran's name. He thinks Ranjit played the trick to trap Kiran. Police go to Kiran's house and arrested him. Kiran thinks Manasa is doing all this.
Menaka watches TV and came to know that Kiran is arrested in Drug dealing case. She was shocked. Ranjit comes from behind and asks why are you crying? Menaka questions "why did you cheat me and Kiran"? Ranjit replies because you betrayed my love and now you like Kiran that's why I trapped him. Menaka was upset.
Manasa goes near Surya and questions why did he do this. Surya says to believe him and says Ranjit played the trick which he is not aware.
Mahindra takes the lawyer to get bail, but police shows the proof of the document with Kiran's signature and it is not possible to give him bail and you can only prove he is innocent in the court. Kiran's mom and dad look at the document and confirms it is Kiran's sign and question Kiran " why and when he signed, did you read before you sign?" Kiran's babai addes that Menaka is doing all this, she is mis leading Kiran. Meanwhile Menaka comes and she asks if she can meet kiran. Kiran's mom is so angry on her and if she sees her next time with Kiran she is going to kill her.

Jan 10 2007 Wednesday:
Mahindra and his wife went to Manasa's house. Mahindra's wife asks why is destroying Kiran's life and talks all rubbish. Manasa replies she is not involved in this but she will make sure to get Kiran out of Jail. Viji hears this and involves in the argument. Mahindra wife goes crazy and talks nonsense and Mahindra asks her to stop and they leave.
They again met in temple and start arguing. Vijay tells Mahindra that Manasa is trying her best to help Kiran.
Revathy is acting again to get sympathy from his son Kishore, so that he will stay with her.
Surya and Manasa goes to jail with bail paper and submits them to inspector and they both talk to kiran that they are helping him to release and Ranjit and Menaka are doing harm to him. Kiran was so angry on them and tells not to utter Menaka's name. Inspector gives Kiran bail and releases him. But Kiran says he don't want to accept Bail.

Jan 11 Thursday:
Mahindra and lalitha asks kiran to accept the bail, if did not it would be difficult for them to get bail. Kiran accepts it and goes home. As they go home Mahindra warns Kiran to not meet Menaka and co and do not sign any non sense papers. Kiran says it was not menaka's fault but it was Surya behind all this. Mahindra leaves telling, "you will never change" and asks lalitha to teach her son some good habits.
Surya goes near ranjit and warns him that if he did not accepts his faults and tell the truth in the court he is going to kill him.
Kiran goes to menaka's house. Menaka tells Kiran all the truth that she betrayed him and did mistake and harm him. She is ashamed of all she did, asks his forgiveness and she can't harm him further so she tells the truth.

Jan 12 Friday:
Kiran was upset and mad at Menaka for cheating him. He leaves from there and tell her to not to show her face again. Menaka fells bad because now he really likes kiran and loves him. She calls kiran and try to explain again but Kiran did not like to talk to her. Menaka realizes there is no point for her to stay there since kiran did not accept her and Ranjit will kill her so when she is about to leave her house Kiran comes and says he cannot live without her. She says she loves him too. Kiran asks where will you go now, come to my house and stay there. He takes Menaka to his house. Mahindra and Lalitha are not happy seeing her. Kiran says that he loves her and he is going to marry her until then she is going to stay in our house. Mahindra and Lalitha say to not to belive menaka as she is seeking property and her love is not true. Mahindra also say that if this is his final decision then he also has no place in this house.
Surya calls manasa and tells her that at any cost he will make ranjit speak truth in the court. Manasa tell Surya to handle this without doing any bad. viji hears all the conversation.

16 Jan 07 : Tuesday
Mahindra says that Kiran and Menaka has no place in his house and now since kiran has no money Menaka will leave Kiran. Kiran replies back that he does'nt want his money and will go out for Menaka as she has true love for him and one day you both will recognize that and he leaves the home with Menaka. Kiran and Menaka rent a small house. First time he came to know how hard without a house.
Ranjit saw the letter of Menaka that she has no place for Ranjit in her heart and so she is leaving. He takes all the money few clothes and about to leave the house because Surya will kill him if he is the town, the bell rings. He opens the door and it is Viji. She says she will save him.
Manasa came to know that Viji is missing and calls Surya and tell him if he found her to let her know. Sruthi and Surya called all of Viji's friends and relatives and she is not there either. They both go to Manasa's house and they all wonder where she might be all the night. Surya thinks if Ranjit might have done some thing and he wants go there and check. Just then Viji came to house in Bridal dress.
