Abhishek Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan try to make up after the Dhoom 2 kissing kissa, even as Ash looks away

This one comes immediately after the news of SRK extending the olive branch to Aishwarya Rai. The next big kiss-and-make up has allegedly happened between the Bachchans and Hrithik Roshan.

The Bachchans were said to have disapproved of the kissing scene between Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2. Thereafter, the Bachchans and the Roshans were not spotted together at any social event.

However, recently, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan were spotted at the same venue. Clearly, there seemed to be a thaw between the Bollywood celebrities present at Dabboo Ratnani's calendar launch.

The Bachchans walked into the launch party with Ash (they travelled in the same car), and met Hrithik. When Abhishek realized that the cameras were on, he greeted Hrithik Roshan with a warm hug, while Ash smiled and posed for the shutterbugs too. But as these pictures alongside suggest the tension from the kiss controversy have not disappeared. "Actually, Dabboo had insisted that Duggu (Hrithik) come for the launch, because that was the only way to break the ice between the Abhishek and Hrithik. They have been school friends and it was really unpleasant for both of them not to talk to each other for such a long while," says our source.

"At the party, Abhishek congratulated Hrithik for his fabulous performance in Dhoom 2," our source adds. Even Amitabh Bachchan hugged Hrithik and praised him for his performances all through 2006.

Hrithik was very cordial with the Bachchans too. "Hrithik is a thorough gentleman. He never gets into fights with his co-actors. He always thinks before speaking and is most often politically correct. Besides, he was not to blame for the kissing scene in Dhoom 2. It was part of the script which didn't go down well with Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, considering that they are planning to get Aishwarya married to Abhishek," says our source.
