because Ranvi still doesn't know his dad slept with another lady and made Veera with her

and Veera needs to know her real mother.

Separation track will be good for both of them. Both can take the time apart to think what they have done. Ranvi has always put Veera before his own mother. He needs to atone for that.

And Veera has always made things hard for Ratan and by being selfish, she ruined Ranvi's chance of education. She can use that time to reflect on her past mistakes and improve herself and appreciate the sacrifices made for her. Because I have a strong feeling, she still will be childish when she grows up.
