Dai ji, wife of the village's head and a well known and respected woman. The whole village loved her and came to her for help...She woke up and went to check on the new member of her family... Tabu...But would Tabu be in her bed?? Never...she was one restless soul...

Dai ji opened the door and went out to look for her in the courtyard...Tabu was busy tending the cow and the goat...Busy talking to them...n they looked at her as if they understood her... maybe they did...

Tabu...now I need to feed the birds and the hens and then make breakfast n then im freee... And she looked up and saw Dai ji and stood up straight...She knew Dai ji wont let her go to the fields so early...so s he better finish some work n kill time n then go...all her friends will be waiting for her...

Her friends were kids...from the village...she loved them and got along better with them...she didnt like talking to the ladies...they were weird or they thought that Tabu was weird...

Well Tabu was weird...but it wasnt her fault... She was different from everyone...Only the kids and Dai ji understood her...

Dai ji looked at her and said...what are you doing up so early?? The sun also isnt out yet...

Tabu looked up and saw the light tearing the darkness and lightening up the sky...and she smiled and pointed up n said...Its waking up...n I need to make breakfast before Sarpanj ji (the head of the village n Dai jis husband) wakes up and she ran to the kitchen...

Dai ji smiled and looked up and thank God that it was her who had found and taken this girl into her house a month back...she was hurt and unconscious...n prayed she recovers completely...Tabu was such a jolly n lively girl... but...

Just then Tabu screamed...Dai ji...come quick...i need help...

Dai ji shaking her head went to help Tabu...God help this girl and also me...

Raizada House...

Another night had passed...and another day was dawning...yet no sign of Khushi...dont know where she was...Arnav was standing by the pool...starring deep in the water...His hands clenched...Where was she?? It had been a month now and no sign of her anywhere... Had the earth eaten her or the sky picked her up...He didnt know...All he knew was that it was all his fault...If only he had reached the hall on time...Khushi would have been with him right now...He wouldnt be standing here alone...worrying sick and wondering where she was...He had hired all the detectives in the city...but none of them had shown any results...

There was a light knock on his door and naniji entered...She knew exactly what her grandson was going through...one month has passed and still there was no sign of Khushi... The Gupta family was as worried as the Raizada ppl...Where had she gone?? No one had any clue...

Naniji came close to him and touched his shoulder and said...Chotey..If you dont sleep..how will you heal...You havent been well... Her eyes going to the deep cut on the left side of his forehead...

Arnav didnt reply...instead of changing back at being ASR, the one who screamed and shouted...He had suddenly gone mum...

Naniji knew it was no use telling him anything...She just said...we will find her soon...dont worry...N she left...

Arnav stood there...waiting to hear from his detectives...His last resort was to publish an ad in the news paper with her pic...but his lawyer and the detectives had advised him against it...That could endanger Khushi's life...and he didnt want that...He wanted her back..safe and sound in his arms... HE looked up and screamed...Khushiii...pain tearing his heart...

Village...

Tabu was setting the tray for tea and suddenly she felt something and the cup fell from her hands...breaking into pieces...something tugged her heart...she couldnt put a finger to this feeling...What happened?? Why was she hurting????

Dai ji came running n asked..what happened? Are you alright...

Tabu looking lost...looked into Dai jis eyes and asked...Who am I? Why do I feel as if someone is calling me but I dont understand it... Dai ji, please hold me...im scared...

Dai ji came forward and took Tabu in her arms n comforted her and said...dont fight it my dear...it will all come back soon...Tabu had started crying...and she was scared...She had no memory of her past...Who was she? Where was she from? What was her name?? Who was calling her like that??? She had no clue...all was lost...

Tabu hugged Dai ji tight and said.. When will it come back? What if it doesnt?

Dai ji comforted her and said... I am sure your family must be searching for you... They must be as worried and troubled as we all are...

Sarpan ji was standing by the door listening to them...it was sad this poor girl had lost her memory and there was nothing that they could do to help her...Ill try and ask the elders of the village to help...

Dai ji comforted her..Tabu realizing that she was upsetting this adorable woman quickly said...OH my God...my friends must be waiting for me by the fields...Im getting late...

Tabu...whose friends were villages kids...they all use to roam around in the fields and she would climb tress for them to pick fruit...Today they had to attack a guava tree...N then they will all rush to the village school and Tabu back home...

Tabu quickly whipped her tears and said...ill be back later...Do you want anything from the fields Dai ji???

Dai ji... just pick few chillies and tomatoes on the way...

Tabu was running out the door and Dai ji said...some mints too...and dont burn ur hands while picking the chillies...

Tabu dashed out...didnt want her friends to wait for her...They were waiting for her...all went to the fields and she climbed a guava tree and plucked ripe n juicy guavas for them and when they had enough they waved bye n all ran to the school. ...All were so cute and naughty...she liked Paree and Arvand the best...then she picked few fresh veges for Dai ji and walked home...

HOME...yes that was her home for now...she had no idea where her real home was...She had woken up looking into the loving and caring eyes of Dai ji... She had been badly injured...there still was a deep cut on the left side of her forehead... It was healing fast and didnt hurt as much...although she did suffer from headaches now n then...but she was fine...Dai jis herbal turmeric med had done wonders...all the cuts and wounds on her arms and legs were healing fast...

Dai ji had quickly taken her under her loving wings and comforted her when she was upset and sad and gave her this name...Tabasum...meaning the one who smiles...cause according to Dai ji...Tabu had a beautiful smile and all she ever wanted was to make everyone happy...

It has been exactly one month now since she was found unconscious by the people of this village...and since then this was her home...Her nights were dreamless...as if her mind had completely shut down...What had cause the accident...Where was her family?? Where was her husband?? Her hand reaching out to the mangal suthar that was still around her neck...and it showed that she was married...Deep in thought she walked home...

One of the goon of the village had his eyes on Tabu from day one...HE had wanted to help her...but Dai ji had objected and taken her to her house...

Prakash...the bad guy...was standing by his cart and looking at Tabu...and wondered why was she still wearing her mangal suthar...if he had found her first...he would have removed it...and married her...and smirked and said... Hey Tabu...how are you???

Tabu stopped and looked at him and walked on...Prakash came after her...Hey listen to me...i dont bite...

Tabu started walking fast and then turned and said...stop following me...i dont want to talk to you.

Just then Dadi jis neighbor and another good villager Nandani ji shouted...Hey Prakash...someones at your cart...go and ans them...and came forward and took Tabu by her hand and walked her to Dai ji's house and said...Dai ji...where are you??? and told her what had happened...

Tabu...I can take care of myself...i wasnt scared of him...

Nandani looked at Dai ji and said...Plz look after her...and left...

Dai ji didnt say anything...just went in and Tabu followed her... Dai ji plz listen to me...

Dai ji...im thinking...leave me alone for a while...go finish your work in the kitchen n make a nice cup of hot tea for us and come in the court yard...and NO... im not angry at you...just worried...

Tabu made tea and went n sat by Dai ji in the court yard..under the shade on a woven bed...cool light breeze blowing... She smiled at Tabu and said... I should banned you from going with the kids to the fields...

Tabu... dai jiii woo...

Dai ji smiled...i should...but I wont...Dai ji knew this was the only thing that made Tabu happy...roaming in the fields with the kids...and she knew she was safe with them... so she knew what to do...She pulled on Tabus ear and said... I dont want you to come back home alone after your time with the kids...i want you to join them and go and study in the school...

Tabu...what...study?? But im not a kid...im grown up woman...a married woman...

Dai ji...so what?? Just join higher classes...bas... I will talk to Sarpan ji and now I dont want to argue about it...

Both sat enjoying their tea...then Dai ji said...go n bring oil from the kitchen your hair are so dry...

Raizada House...

Anjali knocked on Arnavs door and entered...OP following with a tray of food...made him sit and fed him, saying... Killing yourself wont help Khushi ji...Keep well so you can find her...

All were very sad...they didnt know where Khushi was... Anjali was more saddened..cause before coming here Shyam ji had said...What if she in no more...i mean...it can happen...

And Anjali was more worried now...

Arnav had hired all detectives to find Khushi...and two of them were following Shyam 24/7...He suspected Shyams involvement in this...but he had come out clean...IN fact the detectives had found out that Shyam was involved in killing Anjalis baby and they had found all the videos of it... Arnav was silent on this chapter for now...cause his first priority was to find Khushi...then he would deal with Shyam...

How will I find her?? I hurt her so much???Was she hiding from me? I will slip from ur hands just like the sand slips from the fingers... Khushi...plz come back...plz khushiii...come back to me...
