Chapter-5 (A)

"You Moron" Arnav mentally cursed himself.How could he have been so insensitive,he had just kidnapped the girl and challenged her to duel,how could he just accept her to fall in love with him so soon.He gave her a furtive glance and ignorant look on her face hurt him nevertheless.

Khushi was aware of the glances Arnav was giving her but chose to remain indifferent .She couldn't afford to lose herself again.She felt a tap on her shoulder and looked up at him,

"we have crossed the forest and the palace is nearby" said Arnav.

She just nodded in reply and turned back.

A few minutes later Khushi's eyes widened at the sight of the magnificient palace in front of her.This was so huge and a city in itself compared to the one in Jiyadhghad.Both of them got down from the horse while a man servant came and led Mudra away to the royal stables. Arnav held her hand in order to lead the way but Khushi pulled it away and that was the last straw for Arnav.

He forcefully picked her up in his arms and entered the threshold of the palace. All Khushi Could do was struggle helplessly.The onlookers looked shocked at the sight in front of them,who was the young woman in their prince's arms but they weren't going to complain if he declared her as their Princess.After all she looked as though she had descended right from the heavens.

Arnav took her to the private Chambers of the palace where the men and womenof the family were allowed to come and go whenever they pleased.

"How dare you?" shouted Khushi.

"well you left me no choice Khushi besides don't complain,it's in the Raizada tradition for the groom to carry his bride" replied Arnav.

"Don't get carried away Arnav,sharpen your sword to meet mine" said Khushi.

Just then Khushi heard a familiar but totally unexpected voice call out her name.

"Khushi"

"Anjali"

Both the women hugged each other much to the shock and bewilderment of the man standing next to them.

Arnav had been totally shocked to find out that His would be wife and Di were good friends and now he was totally worried, will Khushi tell Anjali the whole kidnapping fiasco? He had guessed that they must have met at the finishing School near Takshila Where the students are not allowed to disclose to which Royal or Noble lineage they belong to,That must be why Di had never realised that Khushi was the princess of Jiyadhgad who was betrothed to Arnav.

Friend or not he seriously wondered if his Di would agree to the whole Kidnapping thing.AnJali had pushed him out of the room to catch up with her friend and it had been a long time but neither had come out and Arnav Singh Raizada was anxious as he din't want his Di to be disappointed in him.

"Oh My goodness!!! Khushi What are you doing here that too with Chote, I am so happy to see you again after a long time" Said Anjali as she hugged her Best Friend.

Khushi was shocked and surprised to see Anjali here and That Arnav had addressed her as his Di,Was her best friend the sister of the same man who had murdered her parents.

"Anjali ar..e you... I me...ean Arnav" stuttered Khushi.

"What is it Khushi Why are you stammering...that is so unlike" asked Anjali.

"I am the princess of Jiyadhgad" blurted out Khushi For the lack of anything else to say or may be because she had too many things to say and ask.

"Wha..t I mean you are the one betrothed to my Chote..."

Anjali's happiness knew no bounds Her best friend and her brother ,she couldn't have thought a better match for both of them they were perfect for each other in every way.

" Khushi I am so happy for both of you and Nani will be so happy too... Wait till you meet her" said Anjali.

Khushi was speechless she din't understand what was going around her anymore.She felt numb and Hollow.

"But Khushi ,Why did you agree to Marry Shyam Jha of Siga?" asked Anjali.

In response Anjali found her lying down crumpled and Unconscious.

"KHUSHI" shouted Anjali worried out of her wits.

The next minute an even more worried Arnav Barged into the room and once again took Khushi in his arms and moved out with his to-be bride followed by Anjali.
