No dear they are not upper class, they are in the wannabe class!!😉

I could not agree with you more. I wish they would have some dignity!

I do not expect any dignity from them. Manav has been able to make money and become rich all on a sudden. But he was basically raised in a chawl and as far as I can remember he did not get much education. Savita has lived in a chawl all her life and she is not educated. Archana is not educated at all, remember she did not even finish high school because she had to take hold of the household chores during Sulochana's illness. I am not pointing fingers at any particular group, or anyone coming from a particular background, or people living in the chawl. But the chawl environment does not appear to be much sophisticated. Money can change the clothes you wear, the car you drive and improve the condition you live in, but it can hardly brush up your ways and your speech.
