Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD) is a lifetime movie about dreams, ambition, hope, disappointments, options, eagerness, fear, travel, the first day at work, sleepless nights, family, laughter, music, dance, friendship and love.

The movie revolves around four college friends Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor), Naina (Deepika Padukone), Avi (Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Aditi (Kalki Koechlin) takes a road trip in their holidays and make it larger than life with adventurous spots. While Bunny is a flirt, Naina is a shy and more focused person. It highlights the couple's journey and how their friendship gradually blossoms into love.

Movie Review

This is Ranbir's big release after 'Barfi! And the expectations are hitting the roof as Barfi not only did well at the Box Office but also reaffirmed the fact that Ranbir was here to stay. While Deepika's last release was a frothy role in 'Race 2', her performance in 'Cocktail' was much appreciated. The two together form a great looking pair on screen and their crackling chemistry is hard to miss in this film.

The movie definitely has a galore of romance, joy and pain and the flick is bright throughout. The point to be noted in the movie is that Ayan Mukherji has not used any clichd melodrama in his love story, and we must say that this is the biggest advantage of this movie. Well, you can expect unexpected characters, new scenes & sceneries and great background music in the movie. The movie has turned out to be a cocktail of fresh story in the conventional Bollywood format.

Ranbir Kapoor is definitely the clearly emerging winner in the movie, and touches our hearts with an incredible performance. Well, Deepika Padukone has proved that she knows the art of acting through this movie. We had last seen some spark of some genuine acting by Dippy in the film Cocktail. And now, again we see Deepika as Naina delivering a satisfactory performance. Aditya Roy Kapur is a real fun to watch out and looks equally charming as Ranbir. Kalki Koechlin is funny too and very striking.

To put in a nutshell, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is interesting, crazy and filled with youthfulness. Go and watch the movie for some great performances and colourful treat to the eyes.
