Is Onir just acting to hide the truth?

Hey guys. I'm a silent reader of the forum. I often don't comment on the topics. But, the current topic in PR has me intrigued enough to write something. I personally think that Onir is just acting to cover up something that's been going on between him and Shalini. My hunch is that he's actually protecting Purvi and the rest of the D family from the two evil ladies. Besides, him calling Archana "aai" when she enters his house to look for Purvi further strengthens my opinion. What do you guys think?

I guess Shalini is his wife like he said but I doubt he has any plans to get back with her. We can clearly see how he's putting on an act so that Purvi will run off to Arjun and the lovers can reunite. I think he secretly is thinking "Good riddance!"
