Actor & Director Manivannan has passed away at his residence today due to seviere heart attack. May his soul rest in peace.

Very sad news for Tamil industry !

He was such wonderful actor.

He could do any role : villain, comedian, supportive role.

I always loved his character in Padayappa, Vallal, Mudalvan ...

Very sad news! Tamil film industry has lost a great and talented actor... loved him as an actor in sooriyavamsam and thuladha manamum thullum. RIP Manivannan sir...

I couldn't believe it when I saw the news in the paper yesterday...

He wasn't very old either. Really sad... 😭 He was so good in Padayappa and Sivaji...

May God bless him and his family and may they find comfort in this difficult time.
