What bothers me is pen and paper.

So how do you do this thing?

Writing flawlessly,

It's annoying how everyone is so downright perfect with this,

But not me.

I have never written a poem or a proper personal creative piece in my life,

Never had the talent to rap, rhythm, rhyme and think so creatively.

So yes honey, I know I can't write like you but I am going to sit here and write all crap that comes to my mind.

Lets start with the first time I met you,

Oops.. Meaning the first time we talked,

It hasn't been that long but look how far have we come.

It's funny to think back in time,

We were so shy, but then there was this little girl,

Our jaan 'Amna'

Who bridged all gaps.

Look at us now,

It's gala time all day.

We haven't met,

Probably wont ever meet.

But I know you are always there,

Virtually there, close to me.

To listen to all my problems,

My dreams, my fears

And my what not.

You seem to understand just how I feel,

When I talk about something.

I may talk crap all day, ignore you, offend you,

But you accept me anyways,

With all my flaws.

Now that is what I call true friendship.

This is why our bond is very special

Like gol gappay and mohan thal.

We talk, we laugh, we fight,

So what?

That's what brings us closer.

I cry, I laugh, I blabber all the time,

So what?

Now there is no going back,

You have taken this upon yourself,

Bear it all with no complaints.

And I know you will.

Mean no?

I know but that's how I am with you.

And you know it.

Our love for Ippknd,

Crush on ASR,

Adoration for every rabba ve,

Craze for Arhi.

This is not the only thing,

Which has brought us close

But let's not get there,

It won't end just there.

You are very special,

I love you more each day.

I love you not only for what you are,

But for what I am when I am with you.

I love you not for what you made of yourself,

But also for what you are making of me.

Perhaps, that is what true friends are for.

Always remember... I am just there by your side

Whenever you need me anyhow.

I will try to give my best to our friendship

Just how you have given everything possible to it.

Our friendship means a lot to me,

Only if it was possible to make you see.

Thanks for always being there,

For guiding me at many times,

For scolding me,

For loving me,

For just being there,

Thank you friend.

You must be wondering,

What's up with this girl?

Why and how did she write all this?

I don't know how I wrote,

But I know why I wrote,

This is why I have written:

I want you to hold your head up high today,

Like you're the gem,

Like you're the sun.

Like you're the brightest star in the night sky,

Because it's your day today,

It's your birthday today.

So baby, that's what I want to say:

Happy birthday, may you have many more!

May this day be as sweet as you,

Cut yummy chocolate cakes and send some our way as well.
