Why do they always start a new serial with huge claims that it will be hatke. They keep it hatke until viewers become their bhakths and then...before u say "hatke" they become bhatke and ...

Dhan tan nan...Saas-bahu drama takes over like a virus

This serial was titled Modern Bahu initially and the only modern flavour was Chan Chan and Umbrella ben's war over Purvi's shaadi

Now that the choti bahu has done her graha pravesh and the dadi maa gave a rona dhona lectures on sanskaars, bahu, saas mata and sasur pappa, this serial will just be like million others and the 4th bahu will obsess in pleasing MIL mata and be an addition to the other 3 slaves in the rasoi ghar. And I hear mata is planning a honeymoon to the village for her laadla (minus laadli bahu). Is he supposed to go and give a course on Honeymoon 101 to the villagers and their bhed-bakri?

I was hoping all of Puch Puch, Mogambo, Anarkalii etc etc invading Umbrella ben , maybe even give a bite or two, but it looks like the saasumaa is more aggressive then the doggy mandali

ONE big question for CVs

What was the point in the new Samdhi wannabe to bring the moneybags to the wedding hall as an advance for the future wedding to be? Does Umbrella not realize that even if Manav kicks out Chanchan (pigs will fly first), they have to be divorced before the panchvi bakri will become a NEW choti bahu? 😆

You know what, you have a point. I, myself found it awkward when that grandmother was going on and on about CC's new parents during that bidaai scene. Ummm where did their moderness go now? Apparently cheaply decorated halls are great for the economy too..like who thought of putting plastic bottles on the wall? ewww. Cost-effective does not mean to take your recycling bins, empty them out and stick them all over your reception walls. Also, as CC is a dog trainer, shouldn't she have trained her own dog not to behave the way it did when she arrived at UB's house?

Honestly, a true modern show should have discussed how a girl and her family will still see her and comfort CC if she was getting emotional. W*F did I just watch?? And now this saas-bahu crap is going to start...I hope they develop Manav and CC's love story more (I like Anuj and Sanaya together) and turn this into a bit of a romantic show with a modern twist rather than this other nautanki being shown to us.
