Was MEIEJ really a fluke

ST proclaimed that if Jaan doesnt work then people can believe that success of MEIEJ was a fluke.
Jaan opened with a rating of 0.5 which is dismal even for the channel it opened on..
I know its just the first week and its too early to tell but still seeing ST's claim felt like commenting..
I know its not fair to expect similar TRPS like MB on a channel like Life OK ..but that is something even Mr Producer should know before making tall claims..

I wont say MEIEJ was a fluke even if Jaan doesnt work..I admit, ST has a big role to play in making MEIEJ successful..but that doesnt mean he is the only reason for its success and he has to learn to give credit where its due..

True DVD are famous amongst TRP viewers thanks to MEIEJ but that doesnt take away the fact that they were popular in their own right even before this show and the fact that most viewers tolerated crap tracks like Mukund and are seeing the substandard ghisa pita story line even now just for DVD/Rishbala..a privilege he wont enjoy given the fact that the leads of the new show are not that popular to sustain audience even without a good storyline

So yeah, he is instrumental for the success of MEIEJ..but then so are DVD and the rest of the team..

meiej is not a fluke. Dvd are popular. That show leads are not popular n that channel is too small when compared to colours.

People started watching MB just for DVD to be very honest as it was a comeback of 2 most popular television heartthrobs Drashti and Vivian 😳 The fans got hooked to the show coz of DVD as their fav stars were making a comeback

@Bold: true that..in addition to story which used to be good till a few months ago, DVD played an important role in the success but like you said, ST is too arrongant to accept that

No one knew ST but DD n VD's popularity gave the much req boost to the show and still till date they r the saving grace of the show

we fans might not like a particular track but r just tolerating it for DVD

I think ST shd give some credit to his leads as trust me if DVD were not the leads then no matter what MB would not have been that famous

@BOld: totally agree..he should give credit where its due..
He alone cannot make a serial successful

ST is an arrogant jerk. This show wouldn't be where it is without DVD.
