I hate to say it but I did not like the four fan gifts to Madhu.

First let me say, I am glad there was such a contest cause obviously 4 lucky fans got an amazing opportunity. But the choices of the gifts doesn't work for me.

Gift one: bringing the family together. I was glad to see Roma and Trishna at the wedding - and that too nicely dressed up. But without Malik the gift was a flop. Malik is a HUGE part of this family and he should have been there. If the CV's were worried that Malik would be furious at RK they could have added in a line that RK and Malik had talked it out. Fill in those parts later.

If Malik had been at his daughter's wedding, it would have made Madhu so happy (and me)

Gift 2: The ganpati. Yes it is a nice thought BUT Madhu has one already. Given to Madhu by her mother and one that has been with Madhu through a lot of trouble and was part of her childhood. The one given to Madhu by her mother is more special; it has more meaning.

Gift 3: The 'M' half heart pendant. To me it looked like a half heart pendant. What? if the pendant had RK written on it then it would make some sense to me. But why would Madhu wear a pendant (and a big one) with her own initial on it?? and where is the other half. This one went over my head.

Gift 4: tattoos??? Writing each other's names in ink? That was so 2 years (or more) ago with Saif Ali Khan. RK is one of a kind. He does not follow other's leads but others follow his lead!

And I cannot see Madhu getting a tattoo - it is not in her character. And fine if Rk wants to put her name on his body where only she can see it - then 😳 - fine but I still don't like this one either.

So those were my thoughts and reasons. agree/disagree?

The CV's should have had RK surprise her with the new house and leave it at that! Oh, and bringing Malik to the wedding.

Obviously if the CV's are getting Rishbala married for real this time, they would reconcile Madhu's family to her on the wedding day and Madhu's family would see her getting married, that was a definite given, so requesting that of them was a wasted gift. I also wrote a post that because they were not using Shamsher Malik all this time, lack of work in the serial for him, his got himself a movie that his shooting...they are giving the other characters one shot every few months, look at Roma's character same thing. With other serials when you show one side, say RK mansion, the other side they could have been showing them, the chawl...this is perfect opportunity to show more of bollywood, as that other side all of them are junior artists and work in Bollywood, they could have been showcasing more of Bollywood with them but lost opportunity by the CV's. The guy who asked for this gift turned up at the wedding in jeans and a shirt like it's any other ordinary day, rather he is going to a celebrity wedding and going to be on television.

The half pendant should have had RK in diamonds on it not a big M, because as you said how it looks with a big M being gifted to Madhu it's like she is keeping her own heart back, and RK is the supposed other half has been retained by RK himself, so they did the opposite, and this gift was not done well. The fan that chose this, I remember clearly she wanted RK's initials on the heart shaped pendant the production did the opposite and got it wrong.

As you said Ganpati bappa murti, Madhu has one already in her room the small one from her mother, and the one in the living room, huge one for the whole family. The lady gave her because of society censor perhaps she decided to give a gift something religious because then no-one will think bad about her... wants to look pious in front of all the viewers of MEIEJ, and the makers of the show went with it because they want to promote the same about their show that you see like all the high TRP leaders on indian television our show too also has a lot of devotee religious stuff happening on it, so watch our show.

The tattoo idea I liked that gift, even if it's old and done by Saif Ali Khan, I'm imagining RK showing Madhu his chest and us too getting a look see and Madhu blushing becomingly at seeing her name on his chest...I didn't know that the fan requested Mahdu also get inked, I don't like that, prefer the tattoo on RK only, as it's his gift to her.

But saying all these criticisms above, I don't know if I could have thought of something unique either as a gift to Madhu for RK to give, seeing as RK already gifted her a house already, perhaps a car with a big red bow around it for her to be driving around town...but as I said I wasn't going to say it as I thought to give them a break so didn't criticise too much initially, oops too late now have done it.😳😛😆
