Something has made me write down this post. This post is not pro –Jai but just logical analysis of the situation. (Ekta certainly does not use any of hers so let us put some of ours to faltoo use). Jai has been stripped off of all the respect post ONS and have been severely reprimanded for hiding the secret from his wife. He surely should have done that before making a fresh start with Bani, of his life. But here is where the situation comes on a question mark as to why Bani is never reprimanded just as severely for any of her mistakes?
Why was Bani not questioned for putting Jai through so much of torture? He was willingly giving into her demands of divorce, alimony (where he was ready to pay more than what was asked for), Bani's decision to take away his child from him when she knew very well that this child has somewhere become Jai's reason for existence. Why denying Jai, the right to be a father? Why Bani was never questioned for breaking Jai into million little pieces everyday, for not informing him about loss of his child, all she wanted to do was to get away from Jai so what was the need to break this man? For just running back into Jai's arms, when she found out that her mother has committed suicide. Never questioned for asking Jai's approval to start this relationship afresh. Why she was not questioned, when she did not reprimanded Pia for aborting Pushky's legal baby but went on her "Mission finding Pia baby's father" when the child has been illegitimately conceived out of a wedlock.Where is her moral values now in case of Pia?
Complaint against Jai has been that he was unfaithful in his relationship with Bani; he crossed moral boundaries when he slept with his SIL. He has been hiding this secret from his loving and caring wife, etc….. But why do we choose to overlook the good things this man has done for her. He forgave Pia and Pushkar because of Baniinspite of the fact that they backstabbed him, when he could have easily destroyed them but rather he supported them. He sheltered Pia, when she needed it bad because he wanted to score points on his wife. He let go off his right and desire of being a father to his own child and see him growing up for Bani's sake. One cannot say that he accepted Bani back after the ONS because of the guilt,"NO", he did not, he accepted her back because he wanted her, the woman he loved wanted to be with him and that his trust was true:otherwise a man of JW status has no dearth of woman. He could have easily finished off with Bani and went ahead with his life with someone else. He accepted her just the way she was-Guilty. We say she did all that to protect him, when he is doing the same we are finding faults with him? He is not saving his own a**.If not for Bani then Jai would have been over and done with this entire thing by now. Just because his mistake can be measured in physical terms and Bani's cannot does make him acriminal or sinner and her, an innocent victim of his atrocities
