In Bollywood, you're as good as your previous Friday, and in actresses' cases, as good as you look and the relationships you build with colleagues, directors, producers, screenwriters, etc. She has a good Friday behind her and she looks fine. That's three areas ticked in the positive box.

It helps that her Dad is an insider--no matter what his record is. If she does the right type of movies, she will have a fruitful career. That is important. There are few actresses able to hold their own, so she must do movies with stars along with performance-oriented movies because at the end, not everybody has a Salman to aid them whenever they are down.

Can anyone tell me what actually when down between Shakti Kapoor and the media??

I never actually knew she was his daughter till I watched the interviews before the release of Aashiqui 2

Even I dont know exactly, but I think a sting operation was carried out by an undercover media person on Shakti Kapoor, who was disguised as a wannabe actress. Shakti Kapoor was caught on the camera asking for sexual favour from the girl in return for a role in the movie...

She's done a good job of keeping it clean all by herself. She doesn't need to live in her dad's bad public image, her work and behavior will speak for itself--and it already has.

I think chori sab hee kartay hain, lekin chor wohi kehlata hai jo pakra jaata hai... no one is saint in bollywood especially males... if it is askhsay kumar or sunjay dutt as play boys using countless girls then they r cool.. its its shati then he is a worst human being... why...because he is not handsome.. not lead actor... not hero... not prince charming of girls...
I wonder when human race will leave this biasness and equality for everything will prevail in this world on ll levels... maybe never :u(
(bcoz this world is just a test place... the real life will start from hearafter which will be perfect, and we silly humans try to make this ever imperfect world perfect where our time is very limited to live

To me Shraddha looks more of PADMINI KOHLAPURI's REAL NIECE (she's her sister's daughter) then shakti kapoor's daughter. Same grace, same intensity, same indianness and same poise & elegance.

No she's doing great as it is.

I am just not sure if she will be able to sustain her new-found stardom. I don't hear her signing any other movies or being flooded with offers. Def a concern, lets hope we hear some news about some new films.
