LRL, a flop- says MID-DAY - Page 7

ya...bros got a point...
having LRL on SAB was a bad idea...even tho SABs TRPs went up...its not a channel dats available evrywhere...n most of us here watch d show thru d video updates...so basically..its not really d fault of d producers...SAB shuld be made available evrywhere..like SONY..
n on top of dis..if d story even drags 4 a bit of time...TRPs will dip...so d producers shuld be more careful...
but still....like before...LRL got back on track after audience criticism...so,seeing such strong audience reactions..i bet dey'll do sumthin 2 lift d story agn...

Actually i agree that LRL is a not quite a hit....but its not really a flop either....
Firstly i think there should have been tons of other shows in mid-day's list of flops.....this year LRL has done better in terms of story and trp's than most other shows....

Now coming to our KMA show...well you know thw story kind of lost track just after Huda was disclosed as the spy....i mean just after that Raj took a long 2-3 weeks break...Priyanka took a long break....and when they returned the directors made a desparate attempt to rekindle the show....with the entry of Bhargav....which kind of worked.....

But now this Bhargav thing is stretching too much and so is Naveen's mystry....i mean the makers have left hell lot of questions unanswered...its high time they disclosed some things and cleared others.....

Now for the love angle and the story focussing too much on Naina....thAT was the case from the beginning right...i mean Naina always had the greatest footage on the show.....and frankly speaking i really dont mind the love angle btw Raj n Naina it adds a bit of spice to the show...and its not like this love has developed overnight or something.....they have shown it build up right from the initial few months......

Now coming to the TRP's ...agreed that LRL was in the top 20 but now no longer features in that list....but look at it this way....just after Diwali...when LRL last featured in the list.....the cricket matches started...then shows like jhalak and NB-2 always came to the pics and recently BIg Boss......lets not forget that this top 20 list is for the top 20 time slots of the day......and you will see that most of the time slots are high becoz of the matches....

If the compare the trp's of the show...they may have dropped slighlt only....though its not on the top 20....

But yes this is no excuse for dragging the show.....but i believe now thw story will again get back to track and focus on Raj winning back the cadets and training them....

I agree that they should focus on the relationship of the cadets with Ritu as well....but Shweta was not available for a long time...i mean she was busy with jhalak...then she was busy holidaying.....
When your actors are not available how can you have a track on them.......

But yes the makers have definately ruined a lot of characters including Naina....wasnt she supposed to be strong and stuff ...what hapnd now???why is she acting so weak and immature in front of Raj

And abt the story...i think it is way better than Saas-Bahu sagas....where the dead returning after years....marriages being broken evry second day....n women marrying zazillion times...n at last a villain returning after so many years.

The love plot being shown in LRL...its fine....after all, all are human beings n every1 has a heart....n if a student can fall for a teacher den why not a teacher fall for a student.

Actually this is the fact , that such a promising show aired on SAB .Its a tragedy of Indian Television or Bad luck of ours who are not able to get it ... the main reason of LRL falling in the race of TRPS is only this one , otherwise this show is loved by all who are watching this .

As far as love angle is concerned ... no daily soap can survive without these stunts . Otherwise it will become "Fauji " a 13 episode serial . But yes now its high time when producers should think about giving the story a meaningful twist , may be they are waiting for KBC and they will come up with an interesting turn. to counter KBC popularity ...after all both are going to be aired on same time slot .
