Amita is overwhelmed and speechless by what she heard. She is unable to believe her ears. She has tears in her eyes. Close her eyes for a moment and thanks god for showing her hope and her faith in god increases by ten folds.
Part 4 :
Both return to their car and are on the way to their farm house. In her happiness she feels that the whole world is smiling with her. Sees that all the trees and leaves are oscillating and swaying in a rhythm. Even the breeze blowing on her face appeared to be secretly whispering its exquisite mysteries into her ears. The strands of her hair were dancing to the tune in her heart. The most mundane sounds like tinkling of her bangles, vehicle's honking and mobile's beeping appeared like music to her. The mystic surrounding was welcoming her with open arms. She remembered the phrase: life is like a mirror, if you smile it smiles back at you. She wanted to share this happiness with everyone. She wanted to yell and scream from top of highest peak so loudly till her mouth / throat hurts.
BG: aaj mai upar aasman niche, aaj mai aage jamana hai pichhe
tell me o khuda abb mai kya karu, chalu sidhee kee ulatee chalu
They reach their farm house. Sees that Baa and Nani are waiting for them.
Amita : Yeh lijiye Baa, Shivji ka Prasad. (Hands it to Nani too)
Nani : Mein na kehti thi Shivji sab kuch tik kardenge. Woh hain hi aise , unke darwaje pe aye hua bakt ko kabhi khali hath nahi bejthe. Dekho tho Amita ke chehre pe muskan kitni pyari lag rahi hain!
Amita : (Watches Amit and blushes. Lowers her eyelids)
Nani : Accha chalo jaldi se khana kha lete hain .
Amita : Tik hain nani.
All get assembled at the dining table and have their lunch. Secretly Amit holds her palm below the table. Amita is baffled. Signals him to leave her but he ignores and continuous to have his lunch.
Baa : Amit , mein soch rahi thi ki hame ab ghar chalna chahiye !
Amit : Haan Baa, mein bhi yehi soch raha tha. Vaise bhi office ka kafi sarah kaam reh gaya hain!
Baa: Tik hain , kal subha hi nikal jayenge!
Meanwhile the pulling and twisting of hands goes on under the table. Nani observes that Amita is not having her lunch and is bit disturbed.
Nani : Amita, beta tum khana kyu nahi kha rahi ? Tabiyat tik nahi hain kya ?
Amita : (Shocked and dumbfounded) Nahi nani, woh darsal '...(Pauses. Smiles. Pulls her hand but unable to free herself)
All stare at her including Amit. Amit wears a serene and innocent look. He is unable to hide his laughter but tries and controls himself.
Amit : (Mocks) Haan Amita, aap khana kyu nahi kha rahi ho? (Has mischief in his eyes)
Nani : (Faces Amita ) Amita beta, woh dal jara yahan dena!
Amita : (First gives him threatening look and then a helpless look. Mysteriously he leaves her hand. Hurriedly she passes the dal to Nani. Smiles)
Amit : (Continues to have his food like an adorable sweet kid)
Amita : (Grinds her teeth and decides to teach him a lesson)
Amita, Nani and Baa sit and chit chat. Amit peeps and signals her to come to their room. But she coolly ignores him. Just then he gets a call from his father asking for some details of a particular client and to prepare a presentation. He replies he would prepare it and send it across. Next few hours are uneventful.
Amita tries to talk to him. But Amit is busily working on his laptop.To catch his attention , she keeps loitering around him. She even makes gentle tinkling sound of her bangles. He wantedly ignores her. She sighs and decides not to disturb him. Later she calls him for dinner.
Amita : Please gussa thuk dijiye .Raat hochuki hain,aap jaldise khana kha lijiye !
Amit : Haan,bus yeh kaam khatam karlun phir kha lunga ! Meri khaneki thali yanhi rakh do !
Amita gets the food for him and leaves the room. Next few hours are uneventful. Once Amit finishes his work he goes searching for her. She was sitting on the terrace and enjoying the peaceful night sky.
Amit : Amita , Amita ??
Amit : (Notices her ) Aap yahan ho, aur mein aapko purre ghar mein dund raha tha !
Amita: (No response. Lost in her thoughts)
Amit : (Shakes her) Amita ???
Amita: (Confused) Haan Amit, aaapne kuch kahan ?
Amit : Mein kitna pareshan ho gaya tha !
Amita : (Narrows her eyes and smiles. They share a long eye lock)
Amita: Woh hum kal chalen jayenge na ,es liye mein kuch waqt enke sath bitane ke liye yahan aa gayi !
Amit : (Confused, turns around and searches) Kiske sath ??
Amita : (Still lost in her thoughts) Yeh parbhat, yeh wadiya, yeh panchi ,yeh powdhe ,yahanki sard hawa, yahan ki har ek bath mein mehsus karna chathi hun. Woh sarre aehsas mein mere dil mein quiad kar lene chathu hun!
Amit : (Amused and shakes his head. Smiles, adjusts his specs and watches her intently)
Amita: Pata hain Amit, har ladki ka sapna hota hain ki ek rajkumar safed godhe pe aakar usse le jayega aur dono kushi kushi jindagi bitayenge! Par woh yeh nahi janti ki ek kaamiyab rishta tabi banta hain jab dono uss rishtein ki aahemiyat samjein aur uss rishtein ko kamiyab karne ki har ek mumkin koshish kare ! Kitani aajeeb bath hain na, yeh sab batein tho lekhak khahani mein nahi likhta!
Amit : (Still stares at her)
Amita: Ab mein jaan gayi hun, yeh sab kahaniyah bachon keliye hoti hain. Asal jindagi ka safar un kahaniyon se bhi bahut khubsoorat hain ! Muje khabi nahi laga ki mein bhi kissike pyar mein ...(Abruptly she freezes and absentmindedly stares him)
They share a long eye lock. Abruptly Amit goes dangerously close to her. She was able to smell his perfume. She suddenly feels blood racing in her veins and capillaries .Senses the erratic rhythm of her heart. She wonders what made Amit come so near. Tries to recollect her words but in vain as her mind goes totally blank. He slowly touches her cheeks with both his hands and gives her a longing look with his beautiful striking brown eyes. A light pink color creeps on her cheeks. Unable to bear his persistent gaze she lowers her eyelids. He then raises her chin. She feels as if the ground is slowly slipping below her feet. As if he could decrypt her thoughts, he slowly places his hand around her waist and pulls her towards him literally touching his whole body. It sends shivers in her spine. Her heart was thumping up & down and she felt her body was too small to accommodate it. Due to her shyness, her mind was commanding her to free herself from his embrace but her heart abandoned her and was mysteriously obeying Amit's unspoken words. Innocently she places her hand on his shirt and senses his heart flutter to the same rhythm as hers. Though the weather was bit chill but she feels that below their smooth skin their bodies were actually on fire.
