chapter 10

The city was covered in the dark moonless night , the thunder howled and screamed , dark clouds covered over the silverly glittering moon , it had been ages since this city had last seen it ray of bright sun or the moon , rain and storm had over powered it , the sky was gloomy , the tree shook with fear and the winds ran in protest , as little amaya looked out of the window , she was in divya and giriraaj 's house , it was a cold harsh night and she was tugged in the bed beside divya , they had been very hostile and treated her well ever after manyata 's dead even today they would never leave the little girl all alone and after being affair of the fact that if she could not adjust with uday or he did not want to take her responsibility she would be send to forster parents they grew over protective about her but poor amaya she was unaware of al this bitter truth all she did was cry her heart out her sky , after loosing the only family member she had her life was hell , it had been completely three day after bridgraaj died and the poor soul got no rest , she was lonely inspite of being a part of crowd and now even fever made her its victim , earlier during fever she could never fall asleep till manyata sang a lullaby to her but now she was no where and that made things worse, and there was an inner frustration that she will have to leave with a person she hates the most her mother murderer , that uday veer singh , her heart was heavy and she felt it being torn apart into pieces but finally her tears did stop she felt a hand on her forehead she looked up in the hope it was her mummy but no it was divya she took amaya in her embrace the both eyes were flooded with tears as divya stoked her hair and said

DIVYA:no bacha don't cry please

AMAYA:where is mummy I want her I need her i.. divya aunty I know mummy is angry with me and so she is just hiding from me please tell her to come back I will always be a good girl

DIVYA:but you are already a good girl bacha

AMAYA:then why is mummy not coming to me and now even nanaji left me they don't love me

DIVYA:they do but maybe god needed them more , you see even god needs a person to get loved and don't worry if god gives one reason to cry then it gives million reason to smile

AMAYA:means

DIVYA:I mean bacha god will surely send an angle to lessen your pain and make you smile

She embraced amaya and soon they closed there eyes and slept peacefully and on the other side of globe there was his angle trying to pacify his pain and follow the path manyata showed him , he borded from the airport and he was dressed smartly into an Armani suit and a clean shaven face as he glanced at the sky , the clouds started to move apart and the sun smiled at him , he said

UDAY:you are happy right see I am looking the way you wanted me to look oh come on I can even see the blush on your face

He completed with a smirk and headed to the car , he drove to his home on the way he stopped near a toy shop it was his and manyata most preffered hangout place each day after marriage he got her chocolate and flowers from this shop and a little gift for his daughter as her token of love and now , he had to make it up to his daughter for ignoring her for so long , so he got her a bunch of pink rose , a rare delicious chocolate and her all time favourite a huge teddy , after doing his shopping he smiled proudly and went to the counter girl , navina , no wonders she got a lump struck on her throat by seeing the hand some hunk to which he smirked but some how he looked so similar and she seemed to forget something very big as her ,mind was puzzled she was done with the packing gifts after the packing done she asked

NAVINA:sir what message should I write

UDAY:with lots of love to my daughter amaya

At this the girl stood dumbstruck she was rooted to the ground and her eyes moist as she asked in a broken voice

NAVINA:are you uday veer singh sir

UDAY:yes I am why?

NAVINA:please give me a moment

Saying this she hunted her purse and finally after batteling a lot took out an envelope and handed it to him , by now her eyes were flooded with tears as she narrated

NAVINA:she came that day and handed me this on been questioned she just smiled , she said the day sun shine over the clouds and the father love for a daughter emerge deliver this letter I did not get her puzzle so kept the letter later I found out about your dealth and then I got the puzzle the day you come to get something for your daughter , I was supposed to ahnd it to you ,

UDAY:but how did you know its me

NAVINA:she said the father is super handsome

She joked as a smile appeared in uday face too and continued

NAVINA:as the letter has our name

He looked at the envelope she was write the name was written he looked at her and said

UDAY:thank you so much

NAVINA:no sir it is ok

Saying this wiping her tears and setting her make up she got back to work with a peace prevailing over her mind while uday got in the car and drove to an isolated lane and opened the letter well the hand writing today was terrific each words were so hard to read as he did the hard task

"dear uday,

First don't blame me for my bad writing it is for you , you made my body sore and seriously you should be gratefull that I am atleast writing so listen I know a really lot have changed around you but jannu what I want to do is I want my sleepy head back , like remember those childhood days when we used to spend hours together in park , and cared for my pet puppy gutlu , you were so innocent without any worries and the thing you dreamt was so pure and honest ,you used to tell me how you would grow up to become an author but you got struck in the cooperate life , but I want that dream you saw to be fulfilled even I want to read your book I too get bored come on you have so much of talent , I want that uday who knew no office politics preffered cold drink to juice and enjoyed it life to the fullest and yea please after reading this letter don't sob and waste your time there are people who need you and time is very precious ,yea not to be forgotten then navina thanks and yea wait I hope you know that amaya likes red roses

Ps I love you"

He smacked his forehead rushed again and brought the correct roses as while driving he smirked saying
