For a maker of a show on Television, it is indeed a high when the show does well. It is even more heartening when it reaches the number one slot. Gul Khan, the producer and director of the show Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films), has reasons to smile. Her show is not only doing well, but it has reached the number one position on Zee TV. It is an intricate weave of stories within two families that have seen ups and downs in their relationships over the last 18 years. A journey for Dilshaad Ahmed Khan (Shalini Kapoor), Raashid Ahmed Khan (Vaquar Shaikh) and Shireen Ahmed Khan (Shabnam Sayed) who grapple with issues of love, bereavement and possessiveness. Sacrifice, jealousy and revenge are added mix to the narrative that makes it a wholesome saga.

As you have watched the story unfold with myriads of twists and turns, you as views have been awed by the sheer grandeur that DoP Hrishikesh Gandhi's Cinematography brings out, frustrated at the various tactics employed by the villains and transported to dreamland due to the subliminal chemistry displayed by the two leads.

A show finds its place in millions of hearts due to effort of the team that is a mix of technicians and artists. The ultimate marriage of poetry and practicality.
