jokes aside I think Asad chose sleeveless for a reason... after Zoya's lecture about tameez not coming from clothes, I think Asad has starting to accept that too... and because of that he chose sleeveless (lol it was literally spaghetti straps :P) rather than his usual full sleeve blouses ... I think that's what Asad meant by "this" being his first step on this road

& of course CVs chose that outfit for their own reasons (to reveal Zoya's scars to Asad)

LOL! The main reason he gave her sleeveless was to show her that he understands her and just like Zoya's compromising, this is his first step to compromising. He wants to show her that he doesn't doubt her character and he understood what she meant!
