My first post

Just trying to get access to the posts by posting my first post on india-forum. I am currently in US. on my resent visit to india I watched a few serials. on return, i found this website and started reading the regular update to keep myself in the loop till my next visit to india.

I appreciate the work of all the people who are posting on this website, specially those who are posting detailed updated for different serials. But I find this compulsary post rule a little bit strange. I understand the idea behind this rule is to promote participation of people who access these post. But we must remember that not all people are comfortable posting stuff online and many of us may not be able to post anything significantly. An analogy would be big family gatherings, where everyone in the family is present, chatting and having a good time. But eben in such gatherings there are a few people who want to sit quietly or contribute very little while some contribute to a lot. I just wanted to bring this to the notice of of the administrator and request to reconsider this new policy on the forum. This is a very good forum. My worst fear is that this new policy may actually lead to people hesitating to visit this site.
