After a hiatus, it looks like QH is back on action... And first of all I would like to congratulate the team for the wonderful gripping episode they delivered today.
Relationships are always complicated, be it a relationship between lovers, a husband and wife, friends or even parents and children.
Todays episode was all about relationships and complications involved in it... And I have to say that relationships that are meant to be broken( except that of Shirin-Ayaan) are getting broken and relationships that are meant to become stronger are getting the chances for it to become stronger.
Asad-Zo and the infamous skirt scene:
I am sure that everyone would agree that this is one relationship that is meant to be... these are two individuals who are meant to be together... these are two individuals whose life would not be complete without each other because even though they still doesn't realize the extent of their importance to each other, we all know that these two has to be together for a lot of reasons...
and one of the most important reason I would say is the family history they share and what has happened between Zoya's father and Asad's father(because of Raziya) and the consequences of it that has affected all the members of these two families.. there is no way any peace can come between these two families unless Asad and Zoya comes together.
So Asad and Zoya's relationship is meant to become stronger and that's what has again happened today with the infamous skirt scene.
I don't know about others but I hardly noticed Zoya's skirt because the whole scene was otherwise too gripping for me...
initially it was full of humour.. the way Asad smirked when Dilshad said that Zo is so tehzeebi and then later the shock and look on Asad's face when he saw how Zo was dressed.. that was too funny. Still in between all that what stood out most was how even Asad ganged up with Dilshad and Najma to protect Zo from the eyes of Maulwi Sahib.
And then both Asad and Zo's outburst once in the room was something that is really needed at this stage of their relationship.
Asad clearly had a reason to be furious when he saw Zo in that skirt and what he said to Zo was justified. He had to let it out in that way. And just like Asad was justified, Zo in her position was very right. And Asad needed to hear everything that Zo hurled at him.
Zo herself has never acknowledged till now how much Asad means to her but today from everything that she told Asad in anger, if Asad has even the tiniest amount of intelligence, he should realize how much he means to Zo and to what extent she would go to make him happy.
I loved the way she said that she was more scared of what he would think than what Maulwi Sahib would think. Zo has never bothered about what society and people around her would think but what Asad would think of her means everything to her. And then she had told him that she would never wear a skirt because she knows that he would not like it, but would he ever do anything because she doesn't like it?
Relationships are about compromises as well, and that's what Zo is doing for the sake of Asad. And it's Asad's turn to learn about it.
And this scene is not about a skirt it's about Asad and Zo's relationship and an emotional outburst that was needed for them to understand each other further and for their relationship to become stronger.
Rashid-Zo:
Loved their bonding and how Rashid is maintaining his friendship with Zo and how Zo starts her conversation with him with a hey when she called him, despite their relationship now being changed to that of FIL and DIL status. This is another relationship and another bond that is meant to grow stronger.
Tanveer - Asad:
Asad is a man who is really trapped because of his own beliefs that he has held since childhood.. And for Asad to be a free man, he has to come out of these beliefs and learn to see that everything is not black and white and that everything does not conform to his beliefs.. and this will happen only when Tanu's truth comes out and Asad and Tanu's friendship breaks. So this is not a relationship that is meant to be and looks like Zo will finally bring Tanu's truth out into the open.
Nikhath-Imran:
This is not a relationship that is meant to be and I am glad it's broken and I hope it's permanently broken. Appreciate Rashid today for saying that its better for Nikhath that she doesn't go to that family... I hope he stands firm on this... Imran deserves only Tanu, especially after what he said and did to Nikhath yesterday on the behest of his mother.
What can I say about Shirin? As usual she is gullible and torn by her insecurities and hence fell for Raziya and her scheme and Ayaan didn't deserve what Shirin did. But then these are the complications of relationships.. every relationship has to go through ups and downs for it to become more stronger and perhaps Shirin will realize what she does in time.
I hope Ayaan takes refuge in Asad's house. I would love to see him there and it will also make Raziya's plan fall flat on her face.
Eagerly waiting for tomorrow and what's ahead.
