Hey Everyone,
I was extremely sad while I was making this video tribute. Needless to say, I'll miss Iqbal as Shiv Kapoor tremendously. In my opinion, his and Pallavi's jodi would have definitely won the "jodi of the year" award had he continued with Karam Apnaa Apnaa. I hope that he has an awesome and happy marital life and that we get to see him sooner than later!
I am not going to judge yash as Shiv Kapoor prior to watching him in Karam Apnaa Apnaa. In my humble opinion, that'd be like judging a book by its cover, which is not fair at all. But in my heart, I do know that that the place Iqbal and Pallavi occupy, that is a force to be reckon with.. After all, "ye Pallavi sirf Iqbal ki hai" (in pure telescreen sense of the phrase).. The way
Pallavi and Iqbal brought lives to the characters of Gauri and Shiv, I can't fathom such a response and such an intensity from anybody else. So here's to you Iqbal and Pallavi. Here's to a great on-screen couple who would have shattered all norms had they continued to act together!!
The first part of the video is dedicated to the great moments of Iqbal alone, then Pallavi's point of view comes in and it ends with both of them together. I think the songs fit the overall picture well. Sad, yet true!! They both took my breath away.. I am sad that tomorrow, on my birthday, I might not be able to see Iqbal and Pallavi together :(
