Ranbir is my brother-Neil

While their grandfathers, industry veterans Mukesh and Raj Kapoor's friendship is legendary, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh says that he is equally close to Ranbir, although they don't get a chance to catch up often. Neil has always been on the receiving end of comparisons with Ranbir but he remains undeterred.

He says, "Ranbir is like my younger brother, Rishi uncle is like a father figure. Our families are very close. It's unfortunate, but actually good in a way, that we both are busy and working hard."
Neil adds that he is proud of Ranbir's work and though they may be competitors, he can never be jealous of his brother. "I'm proud of Ranbir's work and the kind of success he's got. He's the fourth generation of actors in the Kapoor family and his work is stellar. Since the last two years, we have hardly got time to meet as I have barely been in India myself," he says.
